  | May 31st, 2006 at 05:30pm London Calling - The Clash is not only one of those great punk albums, its one of the greatest rock records of all time. Everyone should own it. Fantastic songs from start to finish, not one bad one on there in my opinion.

Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables (1980) - Dead Kennedys, I Against I (1986) - Bad Brains (both representing the metal punk scene, also the "non sellout", underground punk of the 80's)
Mommy's Little Monster (1983) - Social Distortion (representing the California punkabilly)
Out Of Step (1983) - Minor Threat (starting the hardcore straightedge scene)
My War (1984) - Black Flag (representing the hardcore and DIY punk ethics)
City Baby Attacked By Rats - Charged GBH (representing the rise of UK82)
Die For The Government (1996) - Anti-Flag (representing the policital hardcore new punk)
