Just 'cause AFI [bestbandever] won? No kidding. You know why Green Day didn't win?. Fans. Fans vote determined a VMA. Did you see how apeshit AFI fans went over voting?. They surpassed themselves. They are dedicated. AFI have possibly the best fans in current rock music. And on here, a Green Day fansite (with almost 4,000 more members than any AFI site, even the official one) there was so little hype. Nobody really cared.

But at least AFI won, they're good too. I'm not gonna make a big deal out of it. I know it has nothing to do with Green Day, but I have a few things to say about the VMA's. I was glad that Kelly Clarkson won Best Female Video, and I thought it was hilarious that James Blunt beat out those rappers for Best Male Video even though I didn't like that song. I'm also glad that Panic! At The Disco won Video of the Year. And Axl Rose got really ugly.
