And they had a water drop as the symbol for it or whatev. So I assumed this year had a sort of theme too. And was it just me, or did they keep showing the periodic table of elements? o.O

I'm not sure why...maybe because Green Day wasn't there, unlike last year. I dunno...this years was a little boring. The only good part was when P!ATD performed! (Say what you want, I still think they're awesome.)

I'd say the VMA's are fixed. And this years was TERRIBLE! Fall Out Boy, MCR, and P!ATD didn't play how I'd like them to. They sounded too rushed. Take your time, geez. And the rappers, they took 3258748676 hours. I perfer last years VMA's over this years.

They did deserve it.
greendayfreek14 Geek Age: - Gender: - Posts: 176	September 1st, 2006 at 09:47pm I really like P!ATD but their performance sucked.. the singing was awful it felt so rushed, i did like teh all american rejects perfomace that was really good, except it was short i was so fuckin pissed when green day didnt won, but it was kinda expected since that song was pretty old and green day wasnt doin any promotions and WMUWSE wasnt gettin much air play did anybod watch the pre-show with MCR.. OMG is it just me or are they copying everything that green day did...i mean ok using the same producer isnt that big of a deal.. but now they have a rock OPERA, and their music video director is the sam bayer... and the storyline of the opera sounds very similiar to green days.. that pissed me off, but wat do u expect from MCR, they worship green day but i still hope their cd deosnt do well, so they see that they cant imitate masters
