 | March 8th, 2008 at 10:46am a-dawg.:Look away, all ye spoilerphobes. Episode 12 anyone?
A brief synopsis for "Fragments": "A booby-trapped building explodes and knocks the team unconscious. As each team member's life flashes before their eyes, viewers learn how each of them was recruited to Torchwood: Captain Jack was initiated into a shocked Victorian Torchwood in 1899; Toshiko went on a daring mission to trade alien technology for her mother's life; Ianto wooed Jack with coffee and a flair for alien-catching; and Owen had a medical revelation that changed how he saw the world."
Hee hee. Wooed.
Oh, and:
Torchwood's 25th episode, "Fragments", will air Friday 28th March instead of the usual Wednesday night slot that we've been use to up to this point. Next week we have two episodes airing on BBC Two - Wednesday brings "Something Borrowed", and on Friday something comes "From Out of the Rain". Thereafter new episodes will premiere on BBC Two Friday nights.
 But, of course. |

"When a local teenager disappears, Gwen is drawn into an investigation that reveals a darker side of Torchwood. Hundreds of people have disappeared without trace, but Jack is obstructing attempts to find them. The answer seems to lie in the rift - literally - and as Gwen follows the trail, she makes a shocking discovery."
Great. Another Gwepisode. It's just what I always wanted. |

Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 7070 | March 8th, 2008 at 06:55pm I just realised where those really hot shots in the S2 trailer of Jack and Ianto in black shirts are from. I'm guessing it ties in with the whole Ianto-in-skinny-jeans spoiler from E12. |

Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 7070 | March 9th, 2008 at 10:52am Rumours about TW S3 which may make you puke a little. See my reaction below.
"Meanwhile, sources claim Torchwood will look very different in its third season. It'll lose three of its main characters: Captain Jack (John Barrowman), Owen (Burn Gorman) and Tosh (Naoko Mori.) Of those three, Captain Jack may guest star in a few episodes. Meanwhile, Martha (Freema Agyeman), who recently guest-starred on Torchwood, will join the spin-off's cast full-time. And the show will be more family-friendly and air in the same time-slot as Doctor Who. It may also have fewer episodes and serve as a sort of "filler" show for when Who is off the air."

"Jack is obviously one of the foundations of Torchwood and to get rid of him would be like getting rid of Gene Hunt in Life on Mars." Pow Pow. Take that BBC. |

- David Tennant will be leaving Doctor Who at the end of the 2009 Christmas Special.
- Robert Carlyle ( "The Full Monty" ) is the rumored replacement for Tennant (Okay. So I would have been delighted to see, say, James Sexitt (Nesbitt). And, of course, Steven Moffat as head writer. But Robert Carlyle?)
- Catherine Tate's character in Doctor Who, Donna, will make her exit after one season. However, her departure as the Doctor's companion will take a decidedly more sinister tone, prompting the return of many characters from the series' history (aka Jack, Rose, Martha and SJS). |
