Our refridgerator is in the middle of the living room! :  I keep saying, "I'm gonna go to the living room and get something to eat." I love that. Anywhoo, we have to live like this until Monday, when we finish the tile and put in the floorboards. Jeez, it's a bitch to move around in there. We've been eating take out everynight. And my room is officially finished. Although I don't have a bed, ahaha. I'm getting a new bed, but it'll be about a week of sleeping on the mattress flat on the floor before then. And I'm getting a new computer desk. The carpet feels good, like when it's the Fall and you want to jump in the piles of leaves. It's soft.  I'm also painting my room nexy weekend, when they replace the driveway and patio with all new concrete. Then we paint the new boards they installed on the sides of our house, and rip out the rotten wood on around the backdoor. We also got all new patio furniture and a grill, something which my mom THEN my stepdad have wanted for a long time. The guys that were working our floors today asked us as a joke if we won the lottery. And they said they wish they could do that to their own house. Pffft. Who wants to use the livingroom as a kitchen. |
