I do kinda feel sorry for you...but then I realise that stupid people deserve to be mocked.

Speaking of which, why, when people go to a different country, do they think that if they say one word in front of the english word for what they mean, that the people will understand them?

Like...if in France, people say I would like le chips...s'il vous plait.

Do they not realise that all they're saying is the.............please?

I don't get stupidity...I mean you only have to get a phrasebook out and say je voudrais le frites s'il vous plait, but nooooooooooooo.

Yeah my mum always puts a really weird voice on when she talks to foreign people, she speaks English but very slowly and with a fake French/Spanish/whatever accent... it's more than a little embarrasing.

I try to make an effort to learn some of the language, you're in their country, at least give it a go!

Well yeah, it's like when people talk louder to a person in a wheel chair...yeah, they're disabled, not DEAF.

If I said a long word that you didn't know really slowly, would you understand it any better? Or better still, a long word in another language?

Argh.

And then they complain when people don't speak perfect english when they come here. To tell the truth, I've met people where english is their second language, and they speak better english than a lot of my friends, because they learn it properly. I like that.

Mika speaks like REALLY well, and his first language was francais. So I think that's cool.

Sorry...I haven't mentioned him for a little while...the urge just overtook me. I've got a big frame with the record cover type thing in (the bit that he signed) and a couple of photos, and it's dead good. I've put it on some blue card, and it's the same shade of blue as my accent wall, so it'll look really awesome when I put it up on one of my beige walls.

Yeah people make assumptions about others based on the stupidest things, like English isn't their first language, so thus they can't speak it at all or as many people round here seem to think, if someones disabled that automatically makes them stupid, pisses me right off!

But anyway Lexus is going to bed, she has college tomorrow and she's going to get shouted at first thing so she needs her sleep.

Lucy told me the band, and some of their crew, got food poisoning and already had to cancel one show a couple nights ago. I hope they're better by tomorrow, haha. Damn it, I wanted to go!
