Balancing Acts 2

I'm going to pass out. It was 90 today and I was outside running around without shoes and stuff for most of the day for a field day at my school

And I ate wayyy too much. I had 2 apples and then a big italian ice thing and lunch before that and little potatoes before that and iced tea. ew. I almost missed my class too . That was a scary moment

Exams are over until after half term now And I'm going to a party tomorrow *celebrates*

AND I've quit my job at the pharmacy and I've told the people I can't babysit for a while now that I've built up a bit of spare cash, so now I have more time too

YAY LEXY!! Free time is awesome

I'm stuck on a decision.
My sister is taking her son out of day care and she wants me to babysit on the week days for $80 a week ALL SUMMER.

The problem is that I have to go to her house for the whole day while she's at work, which is a long time, like...9 hours. Her house has no cable, no internet service, not even a house phone. o_o I don't know what I'd do with myself. That's every day during the week for the entire summer...whoa. I'd go crazy. But the money...is good. That's $240 a month. That's good seeing as how I can't get a job legally yet...I just don't want to bore myself into a coma if I decide to do it. O_O

Can't you bargain? Say you'll do half the summer or something, that's what I'd do.

Yeah definitely. Every day for the entire summer is a bit much, even if the money IS good.

What did you think of the ending?

Cos I was a bit wtf with it.

I was a bit wtf with it too actually, although by that point I was so tired and I'd drifted off during a battle scene that I might not have caught everything. And I just almost gave away the whole thing with what I was about to say so never mind.

My friend went to the toilet in that bit, and I felt really bad cos she was like "How long's left?" and I said about 20 mins, so she went out, and as soon as she went out the god damn battle scene started.


I feel a lot more at ease with it today, cos yesterday I was fuming. I dunno. ARGH EVERYONE GO AND SEE IT SO WE CAN TALK FREELY!

What did you think of the ending?

Cos I was a bit wtf with it.

I knew what was going to happen with Will...I thought it was a bit predictable. There was definitely a lot going on with the battle scene so it took me a while to process it, haha. I think the whole movie threw a lot at you because people kept switching sides and making new bargains...I'll definitely have to see it again because even thinking about it now it's kind of a blur.

I thought in general they left it open for a fourth movie.

I knew what was going to happen with Will...I thought it was a bit predictable. There was definitely a lot going on with the battle scene so it took me a while to process it, haha. I think the whole movie threw a lot at you because people kept switching sides and making new bargains...I'll definitely have to see it again because even thinking about it now it's kind of a blur.

I thought in general they left it open for a fourth movie.

Yeah, I kinda guessed things about ten minutes before they happened, but I loved Jack's introduction. I didn't know where to look, haha.

But yeah, I'm downloading it (and it's taking forever dammit) cos I can't afford to pay another fiver just so I can get my head around it all.

I was unsatisfied with what happened with Elizabeth. It seemed a bit...blegh, I don't know what will and won't give stuff away so I'll hush.

I did some digging though and there's rumours that Johnny's signed up for a fourth (and I know he's said that he'd do loads of them cos he really enjoys it) but I was reading some interviews with Gore Verbinski and he said that any follow ups will be a while off because there's no script and he wants a break and stuff, so I dunno what to believe.

All I know is that my inability to keep things concise is really irritating.

In response to Lana's Lost essay:
I flat out don't believe anything that comes out of Ben's mouth anymore...simply because he's a crazy bastard. Every time Ben talks Eli says "shut the fuck up you crazy bastard...no one likes you" ahahahahaha. I love it. So whenever he says things about the island or its power I just roll my eyes because he's like the island's child or something, which he sort of proved when he went crazy over Locke's connection with Jacob. And we've seen how he eliminates any people who come between him and the island. But Locke has believed from the start that the island is powerful and spirtual. When that black smoke thing came after him he wasn't afraid and he kept saying "It's okay...it's meant to be" or something. And even in the last episode he was also trying to keep everyone on the island. I think him and Ben are going to be at each other's throats because Ben feels threatened by Locke's connection with the island. So there has to be more to that plot. Ben tried to kill him for pete's sake! I totally thought Locke was going to shoot Jack in the end too. And then I thought Kate was going to JUMP in front of Jack if Locke shot him, haha.

I kept saying "everyone just needs to put the guns down"...Sawyer got a little trigger happy! I couldn't believe he point blank shot that guy...except I think he was one of the guys who tortured Saywer when he was captured, and I suppose that he figured the man would cause them harm if he didn't stop him first.

I think another favorite part for me was when Ben introduced his daughter (her name escapes me!) to the French woman who is her mother and she says, "Do you want to help me tie him up?" I loved that! I laughed hysterically.

I hated hearing both Sawyer and Charlie tell Hurley he was too fat. I know they were just saying it because they didn't want him to get hurt and because they themselves knew what they were about to do was dangerous...but it still made my heart hurt...especially in Charlie's case because that's some of the last things he said to him before he ran back over and told Hurley he loved him.

Jack is a confusing character. I was impressed with him for telling Kate that the reason Saywer was being a jackass is because he loves her...but then he turns around and tells her that HE loves her. For pity's sake. And the kiss with Juliet was fucking weird. There was no chemistry and it was uncomfortable to watch so let's hope they don't start making that a habit.

Aaron is a cute baby! haha...I don't even want to watch when Claire finds out that Charlie has died. I may be sick to my stomach. I was glad Gin didn't die because of he and Sun's baby...and Bernard and Rose went through so much getting back together that I knew he wouldn't die...even though he has a big fucking mouth. I bet Sayid wanted to kick him.

And speaking of Sayid: I would have written a fucking letter had he died! I love Sayid...and his bitchin' methods with which to kill people

Their ending was a bit crap. I mean, we sat through three movies for that? And that's all I'll say. And I couldn't believe Elizabeth wouldn't just stay with Jack and the crew.

I hope that didn't give away too much...

I figure it will be a while for a fourth, if they even make one, considering they filmed the second and third one together. I'm not even sure everyone else would come back for a fourth, but it seemed to me they left a lot of the plots open-ended. I'd like to see Jack come back for a fourth...and a fifth...and a sixth He just seems to get better and better!
