| Flaming Phalanges! Basket Case  Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 17669 | I've never been too fussed with CDs really. I'll only get the cd if it's a band I really like or something. The pay is £5.60 an hour, which judging by what the post office gave me when I exchanged $50 the other day is about $12 an hour, I think. So it's not too bad. It's just over minimum wage for adults anyway, which I'll be lucky to get no matter where I work. I do three 12 hour shifts, so it'll be £196.60, if my maths is right, but it's probably not cos it's 5.30 am and my head can't count numbers, let alone multiply them. But also, not only do I get into the festival for free, I get to use the proper showers and toilets and shit, as opposed to the crap ones all the paying people have to use. And what's even better is that the festivals are applying for people to volunteer to do this job, but with this company I'm going through I get paid.  I so hope I get it, because it would be such a brilliant first job, and frankly, I need the money, and even more than that, free festivals without the dodgy toilets! |
