Foo is definitely the reason we stuck around for the two hours and watched.

Eli told me as we were watching that he and his three friends--all obsessed with the band and all recently done with grad school--actually followed Foo from coast to coast on tour. He said they went to about 10 different shows. Dear God. My fiance was a Dave Grohl stalker, haha.

Did they really? Oh my god *jealousy*

The show was awful. The clips of the band was the only good part of the show.

But dammit. Can I steal Eli sometime?

Haha, sure. He would love to sit down and yammer on about it. Apparently he has a signed t-shirt somewhere and a picture of the band's left-over food from some diner in Chicago?

WTF. I'm defintiely stealing Eli. When did he follow them around? Fuck. I want to see them again so bad. Tell him they might be coming back up for a winter tour. I think that's what I heard.

My friend is gonna buy the DVDs and we're gonna have a Grey's fest. Might as well watch it. I can't wait for Lost though. Ughhh. I miss my Sawyer fix.

He said it was in 2005 when they were with Weezer. (He's also a big fan of Weezer's), but he said he's seen them a couple other times before that too. He also went to see Queens of the Stone Age in 2002 because Grohl drummed for them on tour for a while and he said that was kickass. And of course he went to their acoustic show.

I had heard Foo was touring but I thought they were going to be in the UK through most of November so I didn't think they would be around. Let me know if you hear otherwise--I would love to get him tickets for his birthday.

Yeah they're definitely going to the UK in November and as of right now it's speculation but there's a contest at Guitar Center that's going on and says that you could win tix to a Foo show during their winter. It maybe like a Dec/Jan tour. I'm not positive. I'll let you know

Which I didn't do because it totally blindsighted me.
And now I have another project to do for Chem. due TOMORROW and on that same day write a timed writing essay in English. and many more other shitty things I'm not willing to do.
