Seems there's a few videos of the same performance. One of them is angled perfectly.

Those two really shouldn't toy like that. It makes my blood pressure go up Wink

Welp, I'm going camping this weekend. Why? I don't know. It's a holiday weekend and apparently that means camping is appropriate. I'm going with ten of my friends, which means we'll more than likely be kicked out of the campground for being too loud. So, I plan to be back sleeping in my own bed by tonight! I hope everyone has a good weekend! xx

I would have totally fucking loved to play rock paper scissor shoot with BJ and kick his ass. But RAWR. They're so close, and I find it adorable that BJ has to remind Tre the chords to a song that Tre sings. tehe

Do you think they get up in the morning and choose co-ordinating outfits? I like to think so. He does need to hitch his jeans up though, the low crotch thing really does not work when your legs are that short.

Have fun camping Liz! I love camping with friends.

Gah, half term next week, whole week off. I am so tired. Managed to get out of sex ed though, thanks to lengthy and horrific school choir performance of jesus christ superstar. Have put it off til after the holiday. Result! Mr. Green

They actually own the same jacket. That's fucking cute. And I don't know how the fuck they're wearing sweaters and jeans in this weather considering it was 80 yesterday and 85 today. Fucking Californians.

His legs look so little! My dad calls him stumpy cuz his arms are so short. I yell at him everytime. Sad

He also calls Third Eye Blind: Three Blind Mice and Foo Fighters Foo Foo Girls. Don't ask.

The Fool On The Hill:
oh my god. has anyone been reading the setlists for the last 2 showS?!?! I'm so pissed I didn't try to go to anyone of them. I wish I was in the idiot club and was almost tempted to cough up 20 bucks at like 130 this afternoon just to attempt to try to go tonight cuz they're giving away 15 more tickets for tonight. I'm also almost tempted to just take the car, drive to the city by myself for the first time ever and go to the venue and see if they're givin away tickets. dfjkghdfkgjhdfl

It hurts. I can't believe they played 80 and At the Library last night. WTF.

GAAAAH IF I DIDN'T LIVE SIX HOURS FROM NEW YORK I WOULD HAVE GONE WITH YOU. Aleckz I hope they keep up the awesome setlists for the real tour but I know they won't. I hope they don't just do like the Chili Peppers and play the entire fucking new album, that's just boring.

Also, have I gone on about the album on here yet? I know I did it on LJ (which Elana is never on). I don't feel like doing an album review right now but I like it...and I hate that I keep comparing it to American Idiot...but I definitely don't like it as much as American Idiot. Razz I feel like it's not as consistent. But there are a couple songs that I absolutely adoooore (the title track, and "Viva La Gloria" and a couple others.)

However, during three different songs I found myself singing "Deadbeat Holiday" in my head. It was strange.

I sent a whole PM yesterday ranting about the new album. I was talking about how you get 1039 to Warning. Then everything stops completely and they do a 180 and come out with AI and 21stCBD.

I feel like 21stCBD is a lot daker but the songs that I like on it, I really really like. I don't know. It's just so different.

and ... Shifty I fail with LJ. I shall be going there now.

Lmao, your Dad sounds cool. I used to get pissed at my dad for adding 'The' in front of bands names that did not have a 'the'. Examples included The Radioheads, The Coldplays, The Green Days and, my personal favourite, The Modest Mice.

Hahaha, my uncle does the same thing! He was talking about "The Weezer" one day unaware that he was wrong and then just kept doing it. I like the Modest Mice XD

As predicted, we were drunk and disorderly and asked to leave the campground, haha. Good times!

Buuut that also means I got to come home and see Green Day on Good Morning America (umm, hello, Billie Joe looked GORGEOUS), and GD also performed "East Jesus Nowhere" on David Letterman tonight. After they performed on Letterman, Tre pulled out this robe and went and sat at Letterman's desk, feet propped up and all, and pretended to smoke a pipe, lol. I love his red shoes! Very Happy

Haha! Three Blind Mice...The Radioheads Smile

My mom, bless her heart, mangles absolutely anything she's unfamiliar with. She stills refers to The Dark Knight as The Black Caper. She will also add letters to words. For instance, Jurrastic Park, Wal-Marts...and for some reason she can't get the name of the craft store we have in Michigan right. It's called Hobby Lobby but she calls it Holly Hobby. I fear this is how I'll be when I'm older Wink

My dad can just never remember the names of anything or anyone. This is an annual conversation:

"It's Amber's birthday today/tomorrow/this weekend."
"Who's Amber?"
"My niece, dad."

I should point out that my niece is of no relation to my father, but she's now ten years old, you'd think the name would start to ring bells.

He also can never remember the names of my friends. My (engaged) friends Gavin and Gemma are often referred to as "Gavin and...*long pause*.."

Once, it was "Gemma and her friend."

Bless him.

Lol, Oh parents. I'm pretty sure they do most of it on purpose to wind us up. Maybe I'll be like that one day.

High fives on getting thrown out of the campground, Liz! Me and my friend Al once got thrown out of a campground in New Mexico for stealing firewood whilst drunk. I had fallen over and scratched my face on a tree, it was all very emotional.

Haha, aww, you fell and scratched your face? Clearly, drinking while camping poses some threat to your health. The night we got kicked out my friend had wandered off to throw up and ended up falling down a hill and into a ravine. He returned to us bloody, muddy and covered in vomit. He had also split his forehead open and presumably sprained his wrist. He was laughing hysterically, but his girlfriend, terrified because he was bleeding, was screeching and carrying on. This does not sit well with a campground that enforces a rule that says you must be quiet by 10pm.

Good times Wink

Omg, I hope your friend is ok, haha. Whats with the 10pm thing? It's ridiculous. I hate those self-important rangers that go round enforcing it as well. One time me and my brothers and some friends went camping, got a little drunk and my brother was playing the guitar and I was accompanying him by playing the beer cooler like a drum (like you do)... and the ranger told me that I would attract bears. Like there were actually bears in the woods going 'Hey, that sounds like a cooler!' FFS!

Haha, yeah, he's fine. He did end up hurting his wrist and he has a non-serious cut on his forehead...but his hangover the next day was worse than his injuries!

I also have no absolutely no use for the rangers who are on some sort of power kick. They shine flashlights on your lot and make "shhhhing" noises at you. Bastards. Umm, and of course you're using the cooler like a drum---what else would you use? Wink

Ha, exactly. You should probably have told them it wasn't safe to have open ravines on family campgrounds, by the way Smile

Guhh, I have had almost no sleep. We took our dog to get castrated yesterday and he kept us up whining so much that we gave in and let him sleep on our bed. He kept waking me up by shoving his lampshade collar in my face and making pathetic noises. I have decided this calls for a morning of watching will and grace in my pajamas. I looove the school holidays! Wink

Also, can anyone explain the keyboard cat? I have just watched green day re-enact it on Youtube and I am none the wiser. In fact, Tre's expression right at the end pretty much sums up my reaction to it, haha. Wtf?
