I remember walking out of Keeping the Faith when I went to see it when I was like 15 or 16, because my boyfriend had dumped me over the phone right before I went in. It seemed like quite a good movie but I basically cried through the first twenty minutes then left and havent ever seen it since, lol. Ohhh teenage years.

Jarhead is on TV. I'd forgotten about Jake Gyllenhaal, he's really yummy in this. I wonder where he is these days.

I'm doing the dreaded sex lesson tomorrow that I have been putting off for months. Sometimes I just want to work in an office again and be bored out of my mind for a while, whilst playing on the Internet and drinking coffee.

Haha, oh no, a traumatizing Keeping the Faith experience! You should try watching it again, it really is kind of cute.

Omg, Jake Gyllenhaal dancing around in nothing but that Santa hat in Jarhead. Bless his heart. I think he's still filming a movie called Prince of Persia...which I believe is based on a video game. And he's also dating Reese Witherspoon and fathering her two kids, haha. I would like to have babies with that man....

Good luck with sex ed tomorrow! You'll have to let us know how it goes...and if the kids ask any funny questions. I have a friend who teaches and who had to give lessons on sex ed and she said she asked the kids if they knew what VD was and one kid said "a type of candy". She had to leave the room Wink

Omg, Elle, I've had the worst week ever, and what do I have waiting for me in my inbox? Love, that's what Smile I'll read right now and get back to you!

Lana, if you like Ed Norton you should see Primal Fear. That movie is insane. I also really like Keeping the Faith, which is a romantic type comedy he did with Ben Stiller and Jenna Elfman. It's quite cute and the plot is pretty original which I always appreciate.

Congrats on graduating, Annie! That's so exciting! Any big summer plans? Smile

Ahhh, Primal Fear is so goooood. And I never saw Keeping the Faith the whole way through, I always just see bits on TV. I'll have to rent it, I miss my Ed.

Thanks!! Very Happy I'm going to Boston in a couple weeks for college orientation, which is going to be awesome, and then at the end of July my family's going to Ireland and England Party Party So I'd say I have some pretty big plans. XD

Well, I'm exhausted from staying up lte watching Jake in a santa hat and I've just spilled green mouthwash down a white shirt, so Friday is starting out incredibly well.

Yeah, I've insisted my TA is in the room this afternoon to fend off questions if my mind goes blank. I think we're gonna need to tag team, haha. aarrrgh....

Why the hell am I up at 8.30 on a weekend? That wasn't supposed to happen.

Sex ed was as predicted really, although I was proud that nobody giggled or got silly and they were all adorably clueless, especially the boys. No independent work got done as I spent almost 45 mins fielding a barrage of awkward questions. Sample:

Girl: So, how does the man, like KNOW when its time to release his sperm?
Me: Well, he doesn't plan an exact time, it just happens.
Boy: Yeah but, how does he know when it's going to happen?
Me: He just knows (did I mention I'm a great teacher? haha)
Boy (looking concerned): Ok, but then what if it happens at the wrong time?
At this point, my TA hides behind my notes.
Me: Well... sometimes it does.
Expression of alarm appears on all boys faces.

Best one though, had to be a totally random "Miss... right... what's the point of pubic hair?'. I told him to go wikipedia it and get back to us.

Best part was right before the lesson, I went into my room to find my friend had stuck one of the mottos from the school entrance hall in the middle of my whiteboard, which said 'Kids learn best by seeing it, feeling it and doing it for themselves'. Haven't laughed so hard all week.

and congrats Midget Maroo!!!! YOU SURVIVED!
That's so awesome about going to Ireland and England. I was thinking of studying abroad in Irelandj just cuz it seems so awesome but I dunno if that's gonna happen now. I'm going to England in August to visit my uncle! are you going to London?

Liz, I've been hearing that the Hangover is hilarious. It doesn't seem too appealing but now that everyone's saying it's good I may as well go see it. And I totally turned down an opportunity to watch Twilight. MWAHAH. I refuse to succumb to pressure and get involved in the whole Twilight thing.

This weekend I drove 3 hours to Massachusetts and back. I promised myself I would make it a Green Day fest and both ways I listened to nothing but Green Day. It was amazing. The only albums I didn't listen to were American Idiot and 1039. I've completely fallen in love with Dookie all over again. I know it's the album that shot them to superstardom but I completely forgot how good it is. I've also become obsessed with listening to CDs from front to back. I feel like 21st CBD doesn't even work unless I listen to it all the way through. Dookie sounds even better when I listen to it all the way and now I'm obsessed. I wish I could find my AI and 1039 CDs and just go for a drive and listen to it nonstop. It was great. I need to discover an alternative to gas so I can just drive and listen to music all the time.

Sounds like a good drive Lana. Yeah, Dookie is defo one of my favourite albums of all time. I think people often forget how good it really is.

Re: Your pictures, that one of BJ is hot, I especially love how he has come all untucked - he and Tre really need to start remembering to fully dress each other again after they are done with fooling around backstage, or people are going to start talking.

I actually only just watched the GMA show on YouTube this weekend, that part where BJ brought the little girl up on stage was so adorable. I spent the whole section watching with my mouth open, wanting to have his babies immediately. Nothing new, really.

Off to work. x

I cannot BELIEVE you haven't seen Twilight. Haha, good for you for not buying into the crazy hype. I mean, the movie isn't actually terribly good (the books are worlds better, just as they usually are), but I have such a thing for Rob Pattinson. Yum yum. Although, I've heard recently that he doesn't shower and therefore smells? That's not acceptable.

And yes, The Hangover is obscenely funny. I want to see it again just because I know I laughed through other funny parts. Go see it!

I haven't seen or read Twilight either. I only figured out who Rob Pattinson was about a month ago after hearing his name everywhere and googling it, then realising I was apparently missing out on some huge slice of popular culture, haha. I'm afraid I don't get the attraction with him though, he does nothing for me at all. *shrugs* No accounting for taste. Wink

I've also never heard of the Hangover. I really need to keep up with the world, haha.

If you watched Twilight I'm confident you would understand the Rob Pattinson thing. And I guess I should clarify: I don't actually like Rob Pattinson, I like Rob Pattinson as Edward Cullen the sexy angsty vampire. My friend went (almost unwillingly) with me to see the movie and she thought Rob Pattinson was horribly ugly, but about 20 minutes into the movie she leaned over, wide-eyed, and said, "Okay, I totally get it now." Haha.

I also read somewhere that Billie Joe thinks Rob Pattinson is talented and that he would pick him to act out the part of Christian if 21st Century Breakdown was ever made into a film. Excuse me as I go picture Rob/Edward and Billie Joe "collaborating" together....

Elle, I think I read somewhere that The Hangover was being released in the UK this Friday. It's kind of blown up here because people didn't think it was going to be that good and now people are saying 'funniest movie ever', 'funniest movie this year'. It's from the director of Old School, which I think is a hilarious movie.

But then again I am entertained easily Wink

Saw the Hangover tonight! It was hilarious. I didn't love the plot thing but that wasn't important. and Bradley Cooper has glorious hair in that movie. I couldn't decide if I thought he was cute or if I just thought the whole bad ass teacher gone bad thing was hot. Found myself laughing almost constantly and even when I wasn't laughing other people were laughing so hence making me laugh more. and Ed Helms' character was just like his in The Office which was glorious. It was good. I went with my friend and we ended up just having a date night: dinner, movie, ice cream.

Meh. I used to read books when I was younger then I went to high school and I literally stopped reading completely. Minus occasional books here and there and school books. Don't have the patience to sit and read. I keep telling myself I'm going to reread Harry Potter btu I can't even find the patience for that. I do however plan to bring a book with me for the plane to Cali this week.

I plan to attempt to do some Green Day stalking whilst in San Francisco. By Green Day stalking I mean attempting to keep my eyes open for short men with dark hair and beautiful green eyes. Not that it'll work anyways.

I don't think Rob Pattinson is that cute. I just thouhgt it was cool that he was Cedric in Harry Potter. But I'm sure I can see why people think he's cute and I'm sure one of these days i'll give in and watch it. Maybe I'll read the books if I motivate myself enough to. It could be a summer project. But doubtful. I tell myself a lot of things that never end up getting accomplished.
