Basically, Torchwood is the shit. And you have to love it BIG time. It's got good looking men, aliens, guns, explosions, and a Welsh bird, but you'll have to ignore that bit to enjoy it.

RAAAAR. My idiotic brother called me at an ungodly hour this morning to tell me he is getting married the same week as Green Day are coming. I told him that wasn't convenient and he laughed at me, but then the convo ended with him promising to see what he can change around. I am going to be RAGING if I have to miss it after all the blood, sweat and tears it took to get the fucking tickets in the first place.

Well strictly speaking it's Cheshire, cos I'm going to Manchester Metropolitan which is nowhere near Manchester really, it's about 40 miles south, but it's okay because Shameless is set in Manchester and I like Shameless.
My three choices were Manchester (cos I can take my car there), Gloucestershire (cos I can take my car there and that's where Hot Fuzz is set and they have funny accents) and Winchester (I can't take my car there but it's a tiny place so you can walk everywhere and it was the name of the pub in Shaun of the Dead).

No, they have been together a while, she's cool and they're living together and stuff but he did a romantic proposal the day after he found out he was getting imminently kicked out of the States.
