I have no idea what's going on in Hollyoaks, but I can update you on Torchwood.

OMDAYS on the way back from Tesco I got overtaken twice in the space of about 5 seconds, first by some prick who was tailgating me (I'm not a slow driver, believe me, I've just paid a speeding fine, ha!) and then by the bloke behind him. I felt robbed of my dignity!

I hate it when people over take me, it makes me want to cut their brakes, see how much they like going fast then. >_<

Mum and Dad ordered chinese while I was out, which I thought was vastly unfair, and has also given me a chinese craving, thus I'm off to Ni Hao!

Psh, drivers. Just stamp on the breaks if they tailgate you, thats what I do. I don't care if they put a ding in the back of my car, they'd be the ones paying for it.

I don't think I'd go that far ZR, I get a little bit freaked out by short men. Billie probably looked so pleased because he was standing next to someone smaller than him for a change.

I tend to slow right down then boot it round the corner to show them who's boss. Anyone can go fast in a straight line, but I'm my father's daughter and I can go fast round corners and keep my car in control. I did that earlier and he did the same and he had MASSIVE understeer and was on the other side of the road while I was zipping off in my KA.

Then he overtook me.

I have some questions for you all by the way, something I'm rather curious about, and any accusations of taking over the thread will be ignored.

1) Do chinese people eat chinese food every day and if they do why are they not fat?

2) Do they ever go out for an 'English' and get a roast dinner somewhere?

3) Are noodle factories like giant playdough factories and if the workers go on strike does everyone starve?

You know of Doctor Who I assume? Torchwood is a spin-off about a Captain Jack from Doctor Who. It's awesomez.

I do indeed know of Doctor Who I come across it sometimes when I turn on BBC America, anyway.

FP, that's a pretty excellent way to choose a university, haha. Mine was basically based on "can I play hockey there"? Well, there was more to it than that, but that was possibly a larger factor than it should have been.

You should watch it, the Doctor's fit.

I am doing Film and Television studies as part of my degree so it's pretty apt.

Choosing your uni based on hockey's definitely a good idea, definitely an easy way to make friends if you've all got a common interest.

And it it makes you feel any better I made my uni decision based on whether I could or could not go to the beach easily.

They can't let Ianto die, they know that he's the fan girl favourite. We all love Ianto. I personally think it'd be a bit rubbish if Mickey was in it. I like Mickey, but I don't reckon it'd work well. Martha would be all right, though she's a bit too squeaky clean for Torchwood. Owen was very cheeky and that was good, but Martha hasn't got that sharp edge to her, so who's going to bring the lulz from the crowd that like that?

I want Lois to join though, she's very efficient. And brave. And awesome.

I like Louis too, but not in place of Ianto.

She wouldn't be taking Ianto's place. She'd just be very very efficient and make coffee.

I can answer this one because I had two chinese flatmates this year. They do eat Chinese food for most meals, and pizza, but their chinese food is ten times better than the stuff you get in restaurants. I'm pretty sure it's not as bad for you either because yes they were all frightfully skinny.

I discovered the weirdest thing, which was they think we eat really quietly. They couldn't believe how quietly we chewed our food and stuff. Because they slurp and burp and everything. Oh and they couldn't use forks, I had to teach them and they taught me how to use chopsticks.

Cos I got Chinese and the girl in the shop was really skinny.
