That's very odd. You'd think they'd want to go somewhere glamourous like London, but no, they go to Wales. Oh dear.

Yeah but London's so expensive to go to Uni in! If they've already paid to travel over with all their stuff they don't want to then have an expensive life too! Plus they have bigger cities where they're from, why go to more of the same?

I just got my exam results, and got a two-one overall for this year! Woooooooooo. I failed developmental horrifically I only got like 35% of the exam right. But I did well enough in the rest that it didn't matter!
I just got an email from Green Day and apparently the B side to 21 guns is Favourite Son, but that song's old like my nan.
I don't care for this type of recycling. >_<

FFS FP, I wrote a massive reply to your pm, then Firefox crashed and I lost it so I swore and went to walk the dog. I'll write it again in a bit.
Happy Friday everyone! I met my new class this morning, they are little and riotous. I'm going to have to do some serious ass-kicking in September to get them in line. Gah.
I regailed my current class with the horror story of the Green Day/ wedding event clash this morning and they were shocked, the first reaction being 'So is your brother really angry that you're missing his wedding?' You see, they know where my priorities should lie and they are only ten. The brother has not rung back. I think he is scared.

Yeah rubbish. Idiot Club? I received no such email. Or is this personal correspondence from the band themselves?
ARGH I fucking HATE it when that happens. It's fucking awful.
Elle how do you ass kick ten year olds? Do you tell them that Father Christmas won't be making a stop at their house if they misbehave?
LOL @ your class knowing your priorities, hahah. That's brilliant.
And it was personal correspondance of course, ZR, Billie signed it with a kiss.

I have a number of methods of ass-kicking. I'm working on my teacher-look-that-turns-children-to-stone but it isn't too developed yet, so I have to resort to missed playtimes, standing in a straight line at the door for five minutes then restarting the timer everytime one of them so much as breathes loudly, taking away the morning music, and cancelling show and tell. I'm nice though, so they are nice back... I don't have to dish out the punishments often anymore!
I'm not convinced Billie Joe knows how to send an email. He always sounds confused when discussing technology.
Oh goodness Elle, don't cancel show and tell! That's taking something away from their childhood and they'll grow to be dysfunctional adults.
You have morning music? What, d'you pump Green Day and Sublime into their ears or something?
Billie made the effort to learn so he could stay in touch. Phone calls are inconvenient cos of time zones, etc, so he learned to use hotmail. His address is i_heart_GHDs@hotmail.com if you want it.

LMAO. Thanks, I'll drop him a line.
Yeah, the table of the week chooses the morning music, unless they're being annoying, in which case I choose it. They choose it from MY itunes though, haha. I did make them listen to 21st century breakdown for a full week when it came out but then they started bitching so we had to put Lily Allen on.
Show and tell is bollocks, I only put up with it because they are all so egocentric that it's the highlight of their week.
You do that, I'm sure he'll be pleased to hear from you. Might have to tell him to check his junk mail for Northerners though. Haha.
You made them listen to 21st Century Breakdown? PLEASE tell me you made them listen to Horseshoes and Handgrenades. You'd well have a class full of kids going round saying 'I'M NOT FUCKIN' AROUUUUUUUUUND!!!'
What do they show? Their tamagotchis?

Noooo... I have edited versions of everything. God, I would defo get fired otherwise. Two of my girls once made up a dance to Dope Sick Girl by Rancid, hilariously.
They show dances, plays and random objects. I usually just choose someone to run the show, then sit at the back and do my marking, trying to remember to clap every now and then.
Aw, that sounds sweet, but dull after a while. Is it every single day? We used to have it on Thursdays and we used to bring in stuff like teeth that had fallen out and terrible creations that came out of pottery class.
