I got a couple good pictures but we were farther back so mostly I just took videos. Which I'm pretty sure is illegal but whatever, I'm not going to sell them I love how Billie was so giggly and happy too, man, and when he was talking about that huge cloud of smoke that came up from the crowd during "Hitchin' a Ride" he pretty much made me fall in love with him all over again. The six-hour drive to Detroit was 100% worth it. |

I've worked out that I can book my train back from uni in about 2 1/2 weeks, that's how excited I am, I'm preparing travel arrangements already. I purposefully booked the 2nd date in London because when I went to the last London date before they played AI all the way through and then came out and did a bunch of classics, so always go for the second night.  |

Could you even believe how good Billie sounded during Macy's Day Parade? I took a video of him singing that because I couldn't stand it. lol! I forgot about the cloud of smoke. Billie was like "I smell pot!" And then he kind of looked around and giggled. I could see Tre nodding and smiling, haha. And then Billie took that hat from that kid and was like, "Did you just see the big f*cking cloud of smoke that just came up into my face?" I love him and his filthy little mouth |

| iATEjimmysWORLD King For A Couple Of Days Age: 41 Gender: Female Posts: 4894 | So, after the show my friend and I (Eli didn't come b/c he obviously didn't feel like making another roadtrip somewhere) planted ourselves across from where their buses and trucks were parked. There were probably about 50 to 60 people that gathered just to see if they would come out. My friend and I sat outside for about 45 minutes before we decided we would wait until midnight (an hour after the show let out) and then leave. We honestly didn't think they would come out and sign but we thought we would stick it out for an hour just to say we did. Around midnight a couple people started screaming, which made everyone crazy, haha. So, we kind of flocked closer to the gates by their buses and a girl was yelling that it was Jason White she had seen. He walked out and immediately got on one of the buses. A few minutes later, if that, like 10 people who were right up against the gate started yelling, "Mike! Mike!" and I totally freaked out, haha, because I couldn't see anything but these people were sure it was Mike who had walked out. Mike came out, went on his bus for a second and then walked over to us and began signing. It was a madhouse because there were probably 40-50 people waiting that wanted to be signed and people were pushing and shoving to get to him. Mike was sooo incredibly nice I couldn't believe it. Not that I thought he was going to be mean, but he was so sweet and tried to answer questions and take pictures and sign whatever was being thrown in his face. I also couldn't believe how good looking he is up close. Not that I thought he was ugly by any means, but he's quite sexy in the flesh. Aaaand he smelled good, which always helps People were also being cool in that if they got their picture or whatever signed they would move back so others could move up. My friend and I were almost right in front of Mike when some other girls started screaming Tre's name...and my brain exploded and I freaked again, haha. I mean, I love Mike and he's sweet but Tre is it for me and I wanted to see him again. So, I sort of shoved myself up against the gate and he was maybe two feet to my left signing for this girl and ready to sign something else when the guy next to me was like, "Hey Tre, come take a picture with my girlfriend, she's a hot blonde." Tre kind of pulled a face and was like, "Just because she's blonde and hot doesn't mean shit." And then he launched into this story about how he was in Starbucks that day and some blonde lady thought she could cut in front of 20 people just because she thought she was hot...and so Tre walked waaaaay to the other side of the line of people. WTF. There was a girl on my other side and I turned to her and I was like, "But I wanted to touch him" and she was like "I know, me too" lol. So, I got out of line and walked way down to the other side to try and get a picture or something from Tre. The problem is that Tre doesn't walk down the line and sign like Mike does...he's all over the damn place like a kid who has had too much candy. Tre was yelling, "I'll sign big things...and I'll definitely sign vinyl", haha. And he kept taking people's pens and sharpies and throwing them over his shoulder and asking for new ones. I finally got up to him again (omg, he's so beautiful...guuuuh) and I asked him to sign my ticket and he did and then I unncessarily ran my hand down his bare arm, lmao. There was a girl shoving up next to me so I couldn't get a hug and he was already walking away so no picture...but I touched his ridiculously smooth forearm damnit! After that Tre threw his pen over his shoulder again and then took off for his bus. I think he only stayed out for about 10 or 15 minutes. Mike signed for about a half hour and finally someone asked where Billie was and Mike said, "If he's not out here then he's probably already gone", which I find hard to believe but whatever. I finally got up to Mike again but he was starting to say he had to go because he was holding up like 50 people and they needed to go because they were driving to Toronto and the border would be closing, haha. But I did manage to get my ticket signed just before he left...and I also touched Mike's arm and told him he was kind for signing so long. Mike is all sorts of muscular, by the way. Yum. So, no hugs and no pictures with the guys, but I was close enough to carry Tre off had he stood still long enough to let me Aaand the signed ticket:  Mike's signature is in silver and when I handed him my ticket to sign I thought he was going to scribble over Tre's signature so I almost ripped it away from him but he didn't, haha. Bless their hearts! I promptly went back to my car and cried because it had been an emotional two days...I love those men so much! |

They had just finished Minority and so Billie was going to sing the last two songs by myself. Tre, who never walks on stage but instead chooses to run/flail, went flying down the drum rise and over to where Billie was getting his guitar from the crew and went to pat/grab Billie's, uh, frontal region. Billie saw him coming so Tre only got a small grab in because Billie kind of turned away and shielded, haha. It was very playful and I'm sure Tre probably does that a lot...bless them By the way, Elle, chapter 28 of Crowded was all sorts of hot. I'm not sure I could have handled being that close to Billie and Tre had Billie come out and signed, too. I may have demanded to see some throw down. |

| iATEjimmysWORLD King For A Couple Of Days Age: 41 Gender: Female Posts: 4894 | Flaming Phalanges!: Last of the American Girls is my absolute favorite on 21st Century Breakdown and I kept crossing my fingers they would play it but they didn't and they haven't played it on this tour yet (except at the Fox theatre and some of the other small venues where they played the whole album right through) I've looked at their setlist from every show so far and it looks like they change some songs in the encore but that's it. For instance, when they played in Minnesota last weekend, Billie sang Minnesota Girl. And then at the Detroit show they played Macy's Day Parade for the first time. They play in Toronto tonight so I'm interested to see what they change in the setlist. |
