God, that really made me sound like an intolerant human being. I'm sure you all know me well enough that I got away with it though. I've had a bad day! Wink

Loads of the schools round where I am have swine flu - it's only really dangerous if you're old or really young and your immune system is shite. Everyone else should be fine. Rupert Grint had it and he's okay. Thus there is no danger.

I'm just glad I'm not at school anymore, cos I'd probably have that shit. I went to my piano lesson the other week and my teacher was MAJORLY pissed cos some girl came to her lesson and she was really ill and she mentioned halfway through the lesson that her best friend had swine flu and her school was shut cos loads of the kids had it. Her mum had sent her to her piano lesson when she was ill and there was a good chance she had swine flu, and bear in mind she's touching all the keys and loads of other kids have lessons etc so it was the most idiotic thing her mother could do. BAH. My teacher had a massive bottle of alcohol gel on top of the piano after that, haha.

Billie performed a new song called "Drama Queen" before singing "Good Riddance" last night in Pittsburgh.

FP, you're taking piano lessons? That's cool. I always wanted to play the piano but every time I tried I was shit.

Yeah, I used to do it but I had a rubbish teacher who used to be satisfied if you could get through a piece hands together and didn't want any dynamics, accents, articulation etc but I stopped doing drum lessons because I was playing piano for like an hour everyday but wasn't touching my drums and got a new piano teacher and she's majorly awesome. I just did my grade 3 a few weeks ago, and now she's letting me do fun stuff until I move away. By fun stuff, I mean Last Night on Earth and Restless Heart Syndrome. Up

It's all about the perserverance, ZR, you need to get through the crapness and eventually you'll be mediocre and then that might turn into good and good might turn into excellent. Very Happy

Oooh, Last Night on Earth and Restless Heart Syndrome. Pretty.

Yeah... maybe. But I don't think I have the time to start from scratch and get good at something. One of the teachers at school was trying to persuade me to learn because we don't have anyone that can play but I know if I did I would end up accompanying every fecking school production for the rest of time!

My mother has been back from holiday for half an hour and she's already shouting at me because the reason I suggested for her laptop breaking before she went away was that it overheated and blew something inside.

Reasonable explanation, even if not correct, still fairly logical, seeing as the silly bitch leaves it on a blanket so the fans can't get all the heat out properly.

She reckons I just want to blame her and she thinks it's just 'broken'. She won't accept that things break for a REASON. I drop a plate, it breaks, it doesn't just break while it's sitting in the cupboard. FFS.

Cannot WAIT for uni.

Honestly, all I see in that picture is Mike stretching the hell out of his legs, haha. Tre and Billie both look odd in that picture...but I can't stop staring.

By the way, have we all seen the new trailer for Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland"? Amazing.

Have a good weekend everyone! Lanes, enjoy your concert tomorrow! xx

Last night's show:
Christie Road
Dominated Love Slave
Only of You
FOD
Welcome to Paradise (which apparently is staying on the setlist)
acoustic Last Night on Earth during the Encore

they played Misery, Waiting, Peacemaker during the soundcheck people got into.
I know Moose(iamkiller) went to this show and she probably got into soundcheck since she got in on Monday). Sounds amazing

I'm leaving at about 1130/12. After all that's happened, I'm fucking glad I'm going at all. But can't wait! Couldn't sleep late at all and now I'm going to make my firend listen to them the entire car way up.

OMG OMG OMG LAST NIGHT ON EARTH. *dies*

What's this about soundcheck? Do they have like a first come first served kinda thing going on there? If they do, I'm getting down there at 9am when they're over here. I don't give a fuck if it's October and it's raining like shit, I wanna have me some Peacemaker.

I have heard nothing of this soundcheck business either. I had no idea you could get in for something like that!

Haha Lucy, Tre's hair is questionable at best sometimes. That picture is just really weird. Like I said, I can't stop staring!

The Fool On The Hill:
Oi just checked GDC again a second ago and apparently they played Going to Pasalacqua as well. Jeesh what's so special about Pittsburgh? Razz Midget Maroo's gonna come back from Ireland, see this and smack me.

and FP and Lizzola I get that Database Error thing too. Usually when I'm posting something hence why I end up double posting.

OH MY GOD ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS? AAAAAAAAAAAAAGHHH. Good thing this vacation, this vacation that forced me to go to the Detroit show instead of the Pittsburgh show, has been good so far Grmml and hush you, Lanes. Pittsburgh is the greatest place in the world.

btw, I'm going to London tomorrow (and am in Dublin right now). WOO!

Eurgh boys are annoying. Why can they never stick to plans?!

On the swine flu topic, which I know I missed by a few posts but I was elsewhere so hey ho. It's everyehere round here, the Midlands seem to be a bit of a hot-spot for it. It's in every school, it's in the care home down my road and quite a few of my friends have it. It's just like normal flu though, don't quite understand what the fuss is about!
