Omg, Lanes, the concert at MSG sounds epic and amazing! I'm so excited that you got to be apart of it and then were kind enough to share it with us! The setlist for last night is frickin' insane and I'm glad they played Macy's Day Parade again.
Guh, and 3 hours of Green Day live? Yes please and thankyouverymuch

Sorry to hear about your disappointing trip to Ikea, FP. I can't go in there without spending at least 50 quid and coming out with a load of crap I don't need, like 500 tealights, fairy lights, plants and pear cider. The cookware is a bit shit though.
Argh, fricking database errors! Why won't they just go away?

Speaking of Green Day live (again, haha), have any of you UK people actually got your tickets yet? I'm concerned that mine are still hypothetical!

I just read that no cameras are allowed at Green Day's Tennessee show tonight. I doubt that will stop people though!
We have 500 tealights too ZR, I shouldn't worry about it. (THough I wasn't responsible for purchasing them).
I've got my tickets - I ordered them from seetickets and ticketmaster (I have four and wanted to get around the stupid 2pp rule before they sold out).
I only got the last pair a couple of days ago though, so I shouldn't worry too much yet.

Flaming Phalanges!:
Ahhh at least you got to see one good thing Annie. How much longer you over for and what have you got planned?
And college shopping is fun. It makes you feel grown up. I thoroughly recommend it.
I'm back home now, actually We flew back yesterday, which was an adventure, and now I feel like I went to bed at 3 AM and woke up at noon...even though I actually went to bed at 10 PM and woke up at 7 this morning. Oh, time differences.
Yeah, the little I've done so far has made me feel cool I kind of can't believe I'm going in...I think it's 25 days, but I'm excitedddd.

Have they been technically allowed at the other shows? Because I was all sneaky about mine but I'm not sure if I actually needed to be

They barely ever allow cameras in arenas here, but now people have camera phones there isn't much they can do, because they can't ban phones.
FP, I immediately flew into a panic when you said you had your tickets! I called Seetickets, which was a painful experience, but they said they aren't dispatching them until 05/10 and they 'expect' to have all of them out by 19/10. That is only DAYS before the concert. I mean, FFS. I am not above driving all the way to their head office in London and getting them myself.
Glad you got back safe Annie! The time difference is much more fun going that way, I always feel like some kind of superhuman that doesn't need to sleep.

The tickets to my shows only said "no video recording", and I just found it interesting I guess because it's the artist that says whether or not they allow cameras, not the venue. Maybe Billie is tired of flashes going off in his face...but maybe he shouldn't be sticking his ass out either then. I mean, can he really blame us for wanting to capture his beauty on film?

I did not know that. Interesting!

You know what I just realized (yes I realize it's been there forever) but I love how you still have the Most Individual Person title thing. I just saw it and it made me giggle.
Ah I love my brother's friends. I spent about 20 minutes talking about the Green Day concert with his best friend who actually feigned interest especially about the whole A Quick One While He's Away cover since he's a major Who fan. Then he continued to rant about Pearl Jam and it was all good.

Ha, it amuses me too. Did any of you guys actually vote for me? I don't even know when I got it, or for what! Very strange!
Jesus, I've just spent all afternoon at our local museum with my niece and I only just lived to tell the tale. They had a kids dressing up box in the lobby, she spent the whole trip dressed as an arctic fox, was obviously aware of how cute she looked, then demanded that she wore the costume home. I explained patiently that she had to leave the costume at the museum, she then threw an almighty tantrum in the middle of the museum, I had to wrestle her out of the arctic fox so someone else could play with it, said that she had to give it nicely to another child, she threw it at another child's head, then left the building, screaming, under my arm. ARGH.

Well, it's raining and it's terribly windy and it feels arctic so there goes our big family reunion/cookout plans, haha. So, Eli and I will just sit up here at the cottage by ourselves and freeze. Good times.

GD played an acoustic version of Blood Sex and Booze last night, along with Last Night On Earth. They also played When I Come Around and Dominated Love Slave.
This weather is depressing...I'm going to go find some hot pictures from the show to cheer me up!

Don't worry ZR, everything will be fine. I've had tickets not arrive until about 2 days before a gig sometimes. It's all cool, don't worry.
I'm actually regretting getting four now. I did think 'oh I'll get a few and then if people can't go I'll sell the spares on' but my friend Danielle wanted to go, which was absolutely fine. Then she asked if her Mum could go, so I thought...all right, my Dad came to Hammersmith before and that was fine, then I get a text 'can Tom have the fourth ticket?'.
Tom is her boyfriend and they are a totally pathetic emo couple with black floppy hair, skinny jeans on way too skinny legs and they take 454674 pictures of themselves kissing every time they see each other.
My question is this - I ordered from two outlets - would it make me a bad person if I said I got an email through saying my card was declined on one of them and thus I didn't get those two tickets. Would it? Really? I'm so tempted, I don't want to be a fucking tag along when I bought the tickets in the first place. If they all love Green Day so much why don't they get off their lazy council house arses and order the tickets themselves? GRGIUGIUBGNINVAFIUARGBUAIU
What do I do people? I feel like it's a bit cruel, but she DID put me in a position where I couldn't exactly say no. I mean, can you imagine this:
Can Tom have the fourth ticket?
No.
Who's coming then?
Not Tom.
But who has the fourth ticket?
No one yet. PSSSSHHHHT.
It's not exactly a conversation you have with your friend, is it?
IN OTHER NEWS
Annie, glad to hear you got home all right and hope you enjoyed your time on FP's turf. British officials (AKA yours truly) say you are welcome back any time
And finally, to finish this epic post - I went to see Mika at iTunes festival last night and it was so good that I didn't even care when my piano teacher told me I 'hadn't quite made it' (see: FAILED) on my piano exam. And I'm still all hyper from it. Think five year old on Red Bull and you've got me. Hahaha. You could see my arm on ITV2 last night, good stuff.
How is everyone?
