I'm actually counting the days until I can leave now - I want out of here so badly. She always tries to shit all over me as well - she said I've got no hope of getting a job when I'm at uni or after uni and that I probably won't even finish my degree despite it being something I really want to do AND I just finished college with the equivalent of 3 A's @ A level, so I don't get why the bitch can't just be nice every once in a while.

It is a wonderful feeling, and a brilliant place to run away to. We booked it the day before we left and I was just SO giddy the whole time, it was brilliant. It's a like a secret adventure because none of my family knew where I was. My friend's family knew where we were, but mine didn't so it was just like yeaaaaah, rebelling is awesome.

I drove to San Francisco from Connecticut. It takes a fecking long time. Sometimes escape plans are more exciting than the escapes themselves though, haha.
I hope I end up writing for a living. Plan is to get a job doing bar work when I'm at Uni, get a house in second year, rent out spare room which'll more or less pay the mortgage (it's actually dirt cheap up north and the crashing economy is actually good for me) then stay there once I finish my degree, keeping doing bar work and write the book that I'm planning on writing, publish it (cos it's all so easy and I'm so fab, haha) and make lots of money.

I can dream. If not I was looking at jobs in Mi5 - they say you have to be excellent at written and verbal communication, quick witted and able to think on your feet. I think I tick those boxes, so secret services here I come!

I'm doing journalism, at least for now, but I've been thinking about film and television a lot too. I don't have to actually declare a major till the middle of next year, so we'll see - I mostly just know I want to write in some form, haha. So I fully support your life plan, and would buy your book

Haha, what a plan. I'm also a big fan of the recession and the crashing economy, since I have a public sector job that isn't going anywhere, my salary is only allowed to increase, and everything is just getting cheaper. We were about a week off buying a house when the house price crash started and then decided against it and this mortgage dude kept calling us and saying that the housing crash was a myth and wasn't actually going to happen and we were like, er... right, mate.

Cripes, a lot was said today
A lot of people are saying Funny People is crap so I don't feel so bad. And it wasn't really that Adam Sandler bugs me because he's fine in The Wedding Singer, like Elle said, and he's tolerable in a few others movie, and in this film he wasn't so terrible...but I f*cking hate Seth Rogen. I'm sorry, I know a lot of people like him, but I think he is the biggest DOUCHE ever. I have this irrational anger towards him and it only gets worse the more I watch. And in Funny People he plays this nice guy and he just seemed like more of a douche because he seemed so fake...omg, I was so irritated by the time we left, haha. /end Seth Rogan rant
I also love Paul Rudd! I fell in love with him when I was sixteen and saw Clueless. His recent movies like I Love You, Man and Role Models are both obscenely funny and he is generally adorable and hilarious. I will honestly watch anything with him in it because it's usually decent.
I think someone said this already (maybe Annie?) in regards to Billie only painting one fingernail...doesn't Tre do the same thing? I think maybe Tre just goes forever without actually removing his black nailpolish and therefore some fingers only have polish after awhile, but I'm pretty certain I've seen pictures with just one solid nail painted. I'm going to go find pictures...
And omg, I can't BELIEVE that girl full on kissed Billie. I've been in Tre's presence twice and it was difficult enough to work up to hugging him, let alone raping his mouth. I mean, I've totally wanted to but I was horrifed he would be mad at me or shun me if I lunged at him too quickly or something, and then I would be mortified for the rest of my life. She probably figured she'd never see Billie again and that was her only chance...but let's exercise SOME decorum while in front of Green Day, huh?

I know, she must be fecking brave. I met Tim Armstrong from Rancid/ Op Ivy last year (I KNOW) and I could barely string a sentence together, it took me almost a week to get over the experience!
Ah that's awesome Annie - when you say film and television do you mean analysing or practical stuff like filming, editing etc?
Yay for public sector work! My mum works for the council so her job isn't going anywhere either, so we're absolutely fine. The house prices aren't really dropping in our area either, so we're barely affected.
And I think you should be worried ZR, do all in your power to block this person. Unless it's someone who knows you and is just messing around, but it's dead creepy.

Loz, WTF is that. That is like no Chinese I have ever seen.
I'm still eating it - and getting rather full. I think I might save the rest for breakfast tomorrow. Anyone who tells me I'm foul can go suck it - the lemon sauce from the chicken makes the leftover chow mein all nice and slightly lemon-y and it's very VERY good.
I have actually done nothing today.
I want to go and buy stationery for next year. Would I take a laptop or a pad with me to my lectures? My writing lectures are actually more just like workshops so I'm not really sure...and I don't want to buy a nice sparkly pad if I don't get to use it.
My friend reckons I should get a High School Musical one, I said I would, providing she got a Jonas Brothers one.
