my pet rat, armageddon (i know its spelled wrong, that was just his name), died last sunday. he is the third pet of mine this year to die and i havent been doing so well. he was my baby. i know we arent suppose to pick favorites when its comes to your children but he was my favorite and i have been blaming myself for it all. even though it was his heart that took him. i probably wont be on here for a while since i can barely force myself to move around my house. just wanted to check in real fast. love you all. hope youre all doing better than i am.

Well. I know I said I wouldn't check into here for awhile but life goes on. Or so I am learning that it has too since I have been up since early this morning cleaning since I ran out of things to drink out of/eat off of. And the laundry was starting to pile up in my room. Oh and in a fit of grief and rage I threw all my bed linens around my room and all of my books and since I couldn't get out of bed to the door to reach the bathroom when I needed to, I picked it all up. (Don't worry, there was no accidents. I made it to the bathroom every time...)
Anywho, how are all of you? I do miss talking to you all like I use to everyday, way back when. I hope we all get our heads out of our asses and start checking in more often. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have this to escape reality every so often...

Ahh, it’s good to be home. What have I missed? Anything important? By this, I mean important events in everybody’s lives and also important events on stage between Billie and Tre
Scotland was beautiful but was also fucking wet. Most of the time our cottage was shrouded in white mist and battered by 3 million mph winds. I mean, WTF. It’s supposed to be summer and apparently it was 30 degrees in Sheffield. Did lots of reading, drawing, eating, drinking, got a crapload of exercise, also got completely unbeatable at both Guitar Hero and Wii Fit Skiing. Certain people drove me totally crazy and made me want to throw myself into the loch but I just about made it through. I made friends with the 78 yr old organic vegetable farmer who lived next door and almost cried saying goodbye to him and I also went to N Ireland for the day and had apple crumble at Jon’s mums house and I even met Jon’s Nan, which was quite exciting. She was so Irish I only got about half of what she said though.
Btw, FP, on the subject of Steve Jones, I also love him but my favourite Welsh TV presenter is actually Gethin Jones (are they related??) who is proper yummy.

OH MY DAYS I did a thirteen hour shift yesterday and I only got through 4 hours today before I threw a sicky and went to get a jacket potato and a fake tattoo. I was working at V Festival in Chelmsford. Behind the bar. Apparently Nikki from Big Brother came to our tent (she's proper fugs) and some bloke from the Bill but I got mega excited cos Dizzee Rascal walked past in a snazzy purple jacket, hahaha.
And tell me about it, 13 hours is hella long. I did Isle of Wight festival and that was 3 days doing 11 hours each day but I couldn't hack 2 days of 13 hours. I can't actually walk properly, my legs have proper given up. And my big toe has been numb since last night. I need something to eat, I've barely eaten in the last two days. I'll probably get to the stairs and just fall down them - I fell out the car when I got home, hahaha.
And I'm gonna get me some Steve Jones action on the iPlayer. I don't think he's related to Gethin, there couldn't be that much hotness in one family could there? Or if there is, the rest of them are all mutants.

Ohh V Festival. I saw some on TV on Saturday, like Lily Allen doing Britney Spears better than Britney Spears does herself.
God it's the big festival weekend this weekend, isn't it? How depressing, my weekend will involve fixing my car, helping out at some crappy thing at the buddhist centre that my mum has already roped me into even though I haven't even been home 24hrs and making a woodland scene for my classroom. I'm bored of being grown up now, can I just start going back again?
No I didn't dance wiv Dizzee but I danced while he played Dance Wiv Me on the stage which was 100yds away from where I was working so I heard EVERYTHING. I was wicked. I'm not into all that ghetto shit but my god, he's fucking good. I saw The Proclaimers and The Lightning Seeds as well, and a bit of Biffy Clyro and a bit of Athlete. Oasis pulled out because they're pussies but whatever.
I despise Lily Allen - she can't sing and she just talks shit about people ALL the time. She's like, so amazed by her boyfriends when she's with them, but when they break up suddenly their dicks are tiny and they're shit in bed. PSSHT.
Haha oh dear ZR, the best years of your life are long gone. What have you got to look forward to now? Middle age? LOL. Buddhist centre? Sounds interesting...though the woodland scene making sounds like ACTUAL fun.
Next weekend I will most likely be editing, so nothing exciting this end. I'm not doing Reading (and thank fuck because I have a massive blister which is mega painful and my big toe is STILL numb from Saturday night) so no work, but most likely nothing mega fun either. Don't worry ZR, you're not the only one with a boring life.

Ah I wish I'd gone to a festival this year, I <3 them. But it was either a festival or a holiday for me and Mr Wild, and I chose the latter. Why don't I have more money.

Dance Wiv Me is a classic. I have no time for Lily Allen's incessant whining either. I do like her lyrics, but I'm hoping someone else writes them for her so that I don't have to respect her, because she is clearly a brat with movie industry parents who has a private education, yet portays the whole 'Life was tough, I grew up on a council estate, guv' thing, which just makes me want to punch her in the face, really. *breathes* She's still better than Britney though.
