Ah, we're hardcore over here and we're calling it Inglourious Basterds. Basically, I was amazed at how good it was. I wasn't expecting it to be mega brilliant, but I was expecting it to be watchable - after all it's Quentin Tarantino + Brad Pitt, what could possibly go wrong?
I LOVED the fact that it wasn't German/French/Italian/whatever nationality all talking in English, I thought the subtitles and other language were really great and it was nice to see an American film appreciate that there are other languages apart from English (U.S.). I thought it was just amazeballs really. Loved every second of it. Me and Kel came out the cinema and were like whoooooooooa, that was so good.
My absolute favourite part has to be - BON JUR NO.
Tarantino is one of my favourite directors tbh. His films are always mega well written and they're not just action films, they're action films with a plot. He's really very talented. He's got a foot fetish as well, if you watch a lot of his films in a short space of time you'll notice this. And he loves his exaggerated sound effects. We're watching Kill Bill vol. 2 tonight, and There Will Be Blood at some point too. I think all that's left now is Jackie Brown, then we'll have seen them all.

Russell Brand is a beautiful beautiful man. Have you read his Booky Wook? It's definitely worth a look - he writes exactly how he speaks.

I didnt come out raving but I did like it, there were some really good lines, hes a great writer, i just get a bit sick of all the violence. me and jamie have taken to telling each other that 'we dont see ourselves tripping the light fantastique anytime soon' when we feel a bit under the weather.

ALL of Samuel L Jackson's lines in Pulp were amazing. Did you notice he narrated a section in Inglourious? That man's voice is just the epitome of perfection.
