So...I got a letter in the mail from Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia inviting me to check it out when I have never heard of and certainly did not submit to anything...

'I am delighted to hear that you are interested in the study of English literature and creative writing, and hope that you will consider Hollins as a place where your talents and ambition can flourish...'

wtf how do they know all of this?

Colleges don't just send out letters to people a thousand miles away as a PERSONAL letter.

Like, whoa. College scares me.

Something similar happened to me. I qualify for a scholarship so I got a list of about twenty school I could go to for free. I also want to study creative writing and English literature. Which is why I looked up all of the schools on the scholarship thingy and read up on their creative writing and Eng. Lit. classes. Still undecided.


It is scary but then again isn't it kind of cool? Like, WOO! Go us! Don't you think? Maybe I am just strange.

Sari, dearest, aren't you like loads younger than me and are already getting letters from colleges/universities?

Cos if you are that's very strange. Maybe it's an American thing....I always did think you lot were weird.

I've got to apply for uni in October.

God, that is kinda scary though. I do actually have to start looking at colleges within the next year.
