 | August 28th, 2009 at 11:49pm i started seeing green day everywhere when american idiot came out, i guess i was abou 10 or 11. i had heard some of their songs before, like good riddance (obviously, who hasnt heard that song) and other ones too, but i never really knew who they were. but thats when i fell IN LOVE with them. my dad took me to buy the album, and then when we got home my mom had a look at it and wouldnt let me listen to it because of the parental advisory label and some of lyrics, which kinda shocked me cause my moms pretty cool, but i guess i was pretty young. however, that didnt stop me from listening to them (internet, radio, tv, etc.). ive loved em ever since and started listening to all of their music. |

i heard friends and other people at school talk about them, they wore t-shirts that said "green day" and what not, i heard a lot about them on the internet and radio etc... but i saw international superhits and thought the cover was pretty but my dad wouldnt let me get it cuz they were "over-rated"
but american idiot came out... so yeah...
maybe my friends cuz they talked about them? the internet? well idk haha |
