New Found Glory Covering Green Day
According to Alternative Press, the band New Found Glory will be co-headlining the Hoodwinked festival, and allegedly they'll be playing an entire set of Green Day songs. Other bands are also expected to pay tribute to some of their favorite bands as well.
In other news, Green Day's official site also posted news about Mike Dirnt's new shoe, which is going to come out in the summer of 2009, "just in time for the launch of the NEW Green Day album," according to the news posting.

They haven't really "specified" when in 09. I hope they tour in time for either mine or my boyfriend's birthdays. Only 6 months away :P

Why are they doing that? Do nfg not have any new material? If I wanted to hear GD songs live, I'd wait for them to tour again. That way they can be done right.
