Rockabye Baby: Lullaby Renditions of Green Day
Do cries in the night make you a basket case? If a rambunctious baby is turning you into an insomniac, Green Day's anthems about dookie and shenanigans can help make sweet children. Say good riddance to a cranky baby. Welcome to paradise...
A company called Baby Rock Records is releasing a CD featuring Green Day lullabies. The CD is called Rockabye Baby: Lullaby Renditions of Green Day. It won't be released until April 3 but it can be pre-ordered on Buy.com.

I could so get that for my little Cous Johnny!
...
BAHAHHAHAHAHA! If I ever have kids I'll just play them the uncensored real songs with the words in.
That's so funneh... I was just thinking how Last Ride In, Good Riddance, Give Me Novacaine, Wake Up (hahahaha) and Wake Me Up When September Ends would make good lullabyes....

I went to the website for the company who's doing this. It's all instrumental, so there aren't any words that need to be censored. They can even make Metallica sound nice and calm and lullaby-ish. They'll probably do a good job on this.
I want to buy this when it comes out.

...This is beyond sad. I wonder if they changed the lyrics.
Hahaha it would be creepy if they had one of those women from those lullaby albums you buy at Target singing this.
Bittersweet World, March 3rd, 2007 at 08:01:03pm
