Shoes For a Cause
Billie Joe has teamed up with Converse and the Product Red charity to create his own custom designed shoe. 10% of the sales from each pair of shoes gets donated to the Product Red charity. The money earned by this charity goes to help fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. The price on Billie's design is $69.99 (USD). If you're interested in more information or purchasing the shoes, visit Converse's website.
Green Day was also mentioned in an article in the Sun Times about Pansy Division:
"The closest they came to mainstream acceptance was when Lookout label
mates Green Day tapped them to be their opening act in 1994. Promoters
pressured Green Day to drop the band from the tour, but Green Day
successfully fought to keep Pansy Division on the bill."
Now, on to less exciting news. Green Day unfortunately lost at the EMAs. They were nominated for Best Act Ever, which was won by Rick Astley.
I love Rick Astley. :)
Not as much as Green Day of course...

im not sure though. everytime i see the price tag i just back off so i cant remember the price rly. whatever it is i just know it's too much.
my shoes says "knox" and they're 25€ and perfectly good shoes.
f*ck the labels. i buy what looks good and doesnt kill my wallet.
princess consuela, November 7th, 2008 at 09:04:17am
Yeah, they do. And honestly compared to like.. Nike's or Adidas, $70 for shoes isn't really that bad.

Yeah, I'm with Mindy..
They're nice shoes and all, and the money is going to a good cause, but there is no way in hell I'm spending 70 bucks on a pair of shoes.

Maybe 30 at most.
I don't need Billie Joe shoes that badly. xD
I'll just donate money. x]
