My Truly Chemical Romance, chapter 3
I woke up the next morning with a note taped to my forhead. It said:
Went to band practice at our apartment.
Come and watch if you want.

I got up and noticed Cassie wasn't there.
"Hmm" I thought, "She must have gona with the guys." I got up and walked to the freezer and pulled out a pack of choclate-chip waffels, and popped them into the toaster. While they cooked I went to get dressed still in last nights clothing. I put on my white volcom hoodie and green cargo pants considering that it was slightly chilly for a mid-summer's day. I heard the waffels pop so grabbed them and went out the door on my way to band practice. I turned on the car radio still eating my waffel. "Holiday" was on and I started to sing along.
"I beg to dream and differ from the hollow lies
This is the dawning of the rest of our lives
On Holiday!"
Soon enough I pulled up to their appartment. I walked in only to find Cassie loudly banging on Bob's drums.
"Hey Sonia! Guess what? Bobs quiting the band and I'm taking his place!" she said with a huge grin on her face still banging on the drums.
"Yeah I don't think so!" Bob said as he lifted her up and threw her on the black leather couch.
"Hey!" Cassie said sittig upright on the couch with her arms crossed and her mean puppy dog face on. Everyone laughed includiing her after about 2 minutes of pouting.
"Hey babe" Gee said as he came over and gave me a hug and kiss.
"Hey Gee" I said still in his arms.
"Hey now that this little love fest is over," Ray said pointing to us," Can we actually practice?"
"Fine." Everyone said in unisin. They seemed to do that a lot. Well anyways everyone went up to their instruments. They played Our Lady Sorrows first, then You Know What They Do To Guys Like Us In Prison, then they decided to play The Jetset Life Is Gonna Kill You.
"Hey Sonia I'm getting tired can you fill in for me for this one?" Gee said winking at me.
"Yeah come on up!" Frankie said trying to sound like a gameshow host.
"Fine!" I said going up to the Mike.
When we finished the song everyone jus stood there gawking at me like an animal at the zoo.
"Dude your replacing Gerard!" Mikey said, "You have an amazing voice and are much more pretty to look at."
"No just kidding we all love you Gee." Frankie said.
"Some more than others..." Cassie said pointing her elbow at me, "Now I'm not pointing elbows but..."
We all laughed untill I heard my cellphone ring
"Hello?" I said opening my phone.
"Hey bubbles!" my mom said (bubbles was my nickname when I was little)
"Hey mommy!" I said happy.
"Watcha doin?" She asked
"I'm watching MCR have a band rehersial." I forgot that I didn't tell her about Gerard.
"WHAT?" she asked shocked "You mean that band you love?"
"Oh yeah! I kinda forgot to tell you but I'm kinda going out with the lead singer."
I replied.
"Well thats great" she said "Hey invite him for dinner tonight! I wanna meeet him!"
"Ok I have to go. Luv yas! Bye bye!"
"Bye" she said as I hung up the phone.
"Hey Gee you wanna come to my house for dinner tonight? My rents'wanna meet you." I asked as he started to pack up his equiptment.
"Sure!" he said "Sounds fun I guess."
The rehersial was over so me and Cassie left to go change.
"So I'll pick you up around 7 okay?" I asked as I opened the front door.
"Ok! Love you! See you tonight!" he said waving goodbye.
"You too! Bye bye!" I said closing the door.
We drove home to face the delema of picking out an outfit.
"How 'bout this?" Cassie said holding up a slinky black dress.
"Nooooooo!" I said "Thats waaaaaay to dressy!" I said examining the dress up and down.
"Okaaaaaaay!" She replied mockingly.
"I think I'm just gonna wear my black skirt and lace top." I said rumiging through my closet.
"Thats perfect!" Cassie said grinning.
I got dressed, said goodbye to Cassie, and drove off to pick up Gerard unknowing of what would happen during the night ahead.
