You are always there .......no matter what, chapter 3
Becky sat on her bed doing her homework. She sighed and looked out the window at Billie's window. He was sitting looking at her. She smiled at him and looked back at her homework. Billie Joe turned around and looked at Mike who was sitting on his bed reading all the songs that he had written over the years.
"These are very good" Mike said complimenting Billie.
"Thanks!" Billie said happily
"We should play this one" he said pointing at the song that he wrote about Becky.
"Um..ok" Billie was worried about Becky hearing it but she wouldn't know that it was about her.
"Lets go to my house I wanna show you my guitars" Mike suggested.
"Let's go!" Billie said.
Becky finished her mountain of homework and lay on her bed. This had been a confusing day for her and she felt that the relationship between her and Billie could never be the same.
"Hey honey is this the dress you wanna wear to the dance on Friday?" Becky's mum asked presenting her with a beautiful black dress.
"Yeah but...i thought I couldn't buy it...because it was so expensive!" Becky said happily
"I thought you could with a reward. I mean you have been working so hard lately!"
"Thanks Mom!" Becky said eagerly
Becky's mum left the room and Becky tried on the dress straight away and kept looking at her self in her mirror. Billie ran back up to his room.
"I can't believe I forgot my songs I mean how are we gonna..."
Billie looked out his window and saw Becky in her dress. It was one of those sledge hammer moments. He realised at that moment...he was in love
"Wow" he said quietly.
Mike looked at him. He sat down on Billie's bed.
"You alright mate?" he said watching him curiously
"Yeah" he said turning around
"So who you going to the dance with?" Mike asked
"Um...I don't know...who you going with" Billie said snapping out his trance
"Um this girl in my history class... I'm a bit embarrassed I mean she asked me!" he laughed
There was a knock at the door and Billie's mum yelled up to Billie's room
"Billie, its Becky at the door"
"Thanks mum" he yelled back
Billie walked down into the living room
"Hey Becky"
"Hey BJ"
"You wanna come up?"
At that moment mike walked down the stairs.
"I got to go"
"Bye" Billie Joe said leading Becky upstairs
They got into his room and sat on the bed.
"Becky we need to talk... ..again"
"Oh... um...okay" Becky said getting a bit nervous
"I ...think...I mean...I know...that ...I...um..love you".
