Maybe Perfection Is Me., chapter 9

Jason and I were laying in bed, talking. I was curled up next to him; he was occasionally kissing me, or my neck. I smiled up at him and he turned his head to the side and looked at me.

"I love you," I whispered and he smiled.

"I love you too Em," he said and kissed me. I yawned and stretched, putting my hands up above my head and Jason poked my ribs.

"No!" I giggled but he poked me again and I pushed him away.

"I'm gonna be fat again!" I muttered and he smiled.

"I love you!" he said and I looked at him.

"I hate you!" I said back and he frowned.

"You can't hate me! You're pregnant with my second child," he said and I giggled then heard my cell phone go off. Turns out my mother wants us to come home for a while, so I talked to Jason and we were leaving in 2 days.

2 days later

Summer got off the plane and took off running to the airport and Jason told her to stop before she ran into someone. Of course Billie and Sunny and Paitan came, because my parent's practically adopted Sunny. They loved her like a daughter, and Paitan like a Granddaughter and Billie, well they just thought Billie was cool.

We arrived first and then about 10 minutes later Sunny, Billie, and Paitan pulled into the driveway and got out. Sunny and Paitan ran into the house and Billie walked in calmly.

"HEY! I thought you guys got losted!" I said eating a piece of Chocolate, while sitting up on the counter. Jason was looking around for food in the fridge and my parents were out getting pizza. Strange how we always eat pizza while we're here.
"Nope." Billie said and Jason handed him a can of pop while Summer and Paitan were watching TV in the living room.

"God this brings back some memories huh?" I asked as Sunny and I walked into Sara's room. It was the same way she had left it the day of the accident. I nodded and felt tears coming into my eyes. Sunny hugged me and I felt the tears fall down my cheeks but quickly wiped them away as I heard Jason and Billie upstairs, watching the Football Game.

"You okay?" Sunny asked me and I nodded as we made our way upstairs. I took off running and fell halfway up the steps, giggling.

"You're such a dork!" Sunny giggled and we finally made our way upstairs, and my parents walked through the door downstairs, instantly getting bombarded by Summer and Paitan.

We walked downstairs and my parents and the kids were eating pizza and I scrunched up my nose and looked at the pizza. I really wasn't that hungry. Jason looked at me and I shook my head, I hadn't told my parents about the other baby yet. He rolled his eyes and got a plate of pizza, told everyone high and then went back upstairs with everyone except my parents and the kids following us.

Sunny's P.O.V

"Yay!" I screamed as I bounced up and down on the couch with Summer and Paitan. I left the room to get Paitan to stop crying from falling on the carpet and getting a rug burn.

"Mommy!" Paitan pointed to the door.

"What?!" I slowly walked over to it and looked at it suspiciously.

"No... Parker," she said. All of a sudden there was a bark and a loud bang, something hit the door. I looked out the window and laughed, seeing Parker sitting there, enthusiastic to see me, not minding that he just ran head first into a door.

"What was that?!" Everyone ran down the stairs to see me laughing and Paitan starring at me like a lunatic while Summer was jumping on the couch.

Monica quickly got Summer off the couch and tried to calm me down.

"I can do this." Billie walked over, lifted me up and gave me a deep, long kiss. I shut right up and melted into the kiss quickly.

"Okay?" he asked me pulling away softly.

"Huh?" I asked, a bit dazed.

"Not now sex kitty, we're not...in the right place," Billie pointed out.

"Moooommmmmmmmeeeeeeeeeee!" Paitan quickly opened the door and parker burst through, setting me off on a burst of giggles again.

"Okay, calm down now." Emmy took my arm and led me upstairs with her.

"Mommy!! Can we go see the donkey?!" Summer and Paitan ran up the stairs after Emmy got me calmed down enough to ask me if I was taking drugs. I simply was just really hyper. Don't do drugs. They're bad. Eat sugar instead.

"Sorry guys." Emmy smiled down at them. "He went to heaven," she told them.

"Oh my god! Poor Jack!" I heaved in a breath, then quickly walked over to the bed and fell fast asleep.

It was weird when I woke up with Paitan, Summer, A Barbie and an impersonator of Jesus in my bed with me, along with Billie hanging half way off the bed. Oh, and Parker was half eating my feet, half sleeping.

"Anyone else coming to make me uncomfortable in bed?" I asked out loud.

"I'll come!" Emmy quickly ran into the room and jumped on top of me. I glared at her.

"Yeah, just come in and enter, no knocking or anything."

"Well you invited me!" She smiled evilly.

"Emmy...Don't take drugs."

Emmy's POV

I looked at Sunny strangely and burst into a fit of giggles then took off running through the house and into the kitchen. I stopped and opened up the cabinet.

"FOOD! Nope, don't like this, or this, or that, or this eww! Or this, or that," I muttered moving stuff, throwing it in the floor just as Sunny came in.

"Did you honestly take drugs? Or was it sugar? I...will I need to pump your stomach?" she asked me and I giggled.

"Sugar and Coffee!" I said laughing. It was about 9 AM and Jason was still asleep, I'm guessing Summer was also. I finally found some food and ate it. I wasn't as sick with this Baby as I was with Summer, no where near it. I noticed my stomach had a little bump and I smiled.

Sunny and I were watching TV upstairs and I heard a thump downstairs. Sunny and I ran downstairs and saw Billie lying on the floor, still asleep, with Paitan laying on top of him and then Summer in the bed. Sunny and I walked back upstairs, giggling.

"How's the baby doing?" she asked and I smiled.

"JUST FINE!" I giggled.

Mom, Sunny and I were in the kitchen talking and I had finally told my parent's about the baby. I had also told my mom that I didn't want a baby shower but she never listens to me. So here we are, in the kitchen, planning the baby shower. Jason came in and placed his head on my shoulder, looking at the stuff I was writing down.

"Whatcha doin?" he asked and I said, "Planning a baby shower."

"Oh, sounds like fun," he said placing kisses on my neck and I giggled, trying to write down the list of names of people that I wanted to come.

"Sure," I mumbled and yawned, feeling Jason rub his hand up and down my back, finally sighing and getting up, walking away, getting bored with baby shower stuff. Sunny giggled and wrote down a list of things we needed, food and what not.

"Mommy, I'm bored," Paitan said and then ran back into the living room, giggling.

"I swear, she takes after you Sunny. To much Sugar OD." I giggled and sighed, feeling someone in the room. I heard Sunny scream as Billie scared her.

Sunny's P.O.V

We decided to go home early. I was supposed to be meeting and old friend, It was a secret from Emmy, but she would be completely thrilled. Also, Ronnie Blake was coming too, which made Billie thrilled, he hadn't talked to him much since 'Bullet in a Bible' came out.

"Say bye-bye," I told Paitan who clung to me in desperation to sleep. She'd been up since forever and had the Jesus impersonator clutched in her hand. I honestly have no idea how it got there. We don't even go to church. Maybe she stole it? Ah oh, need to teach her not to steal.

"Bnreyad," she mumbled, not caring what people thought of her.

The fly home was quick and I smiled as I saw a bored looking Ronnie sitting on our front step.

"Well, hello Mr. Blake, how's our beautiful... LIBBY!" I screamed, running over to her and jumping up in a hug, to which she twirled me around in a romantic gesture.

"I'm married." I glared at her. "Not now, he's right here. You can wait to romance me until later." I smiled at her. She quickly smiled and agreed that we could have "passionate sex" later on when Billie and Ronnie weren't around.

"What's so great about Ronnie? He knows we're lovers," I pointed out.

"Yes, but now we're engaged, he might be jealous." She showed me her ring.

"Oh wow! Congrats Ronnie!" I exclaimed, jumping up and hugging him.

"MOMMMEEEEE!!!!!!" Paitan unbuckled her booster seat and wiggled out, running up behind me and hiding.

"You're not shy, say hi to Auntie Libby!" I exclaimed to her.

"Are you Mommy's sister too?" she asked, walking up and hugging her legs and kissing her free hand.

"Uhh, no, just good friends," she replied.

"I have a doggie!" Paitan exclaimed, pointing to Parker.

"Hey kiddo!" Ronnie said.

"Hi!" She lifted her arms up for a hug. Always the first to talk to a man, little flirt.

Emmy's POV

Jason and I were sitting on the couch watching TV while my mom and dad took Summer out shopping to buy her early birthday gifts. I smiled as he kissed the top of my head, making me snuggle closer to him, hearing my cell phone ring, I groaned and shifted so that I could reach it. I sighed and looked at the name. It was Kelsey. I decided to let the voice mail get it and I threw my phone back on the table and yawned.

"So, what about names for the baby?" Jason asked me out of the blue and I giggled.

"We don't even know if it's a boy or girl yet!" I said and changed the channel of the TV, easily getting bored with the show that was on.

"So, are you as nervous with this one as you were with Summer?" he asked and I shrugged.

"Well I know that I'm gonna be fat and you just get to sit around and watch me be fat and then I have to go through childbirth again. And do not say that you know how I feel until you have it happen to you Capiesh?" I said frowning and he smiled.

"Sorry, Ms. Moodswings!" he said and I rolled my eyes.

"Don't start," I grumbled getting up, stretching and making my way into the kitchen, getting something to drink.

"Well, sorry if I happen to be telling the truth," he mumbled.

"I can hear you Jason," I said and glared at him.

"Yeah, you hear everything," he said and I glared again, slamming down my pop on the table, running up stairs, and crying.

I quickly got out my cell phone, dialed Sunny's number and listened to it ring continually. I finally got the machine and I threw the phone down and sighed, trying to calm down. I heard Jason come up the steps and knock on the door.

"Go away!" I yelled and he sighed.

"I'm sorry Em, just, one minute you're all happy and the next you go all crazy on me," he said and I groaned.

"Well, you know what?! You can just leave me alone! I don't wanna talk to you!" I yelled and he sighed again.

"Fine, I'll be downstairs. Come get me when you get out of your mood," he grumbled and walked downstairs. I sighed and heard my phone ring, picking up and hearing Sunny ask me what was wrong.

Sunny's P.O.V

"Hi Sweetie...what's wrong hunnie?" I asked her once she picked up.

"I'm..." She burst into tears.

"You're alive? Have a beautiful daughter? Another wonderful child on the way, whom will be older than mine may I point out? Have a wonderful fashion sense? And awesome drummer? Purple jeans? Wait... that's me... I just bought purple jeans... who has purple jeans?!?! Please stop crying," I added in.

She giggled. "Thanks. Jason's being a jerk," she told me.

"Yeah, well, that's why I didn't marry him...and because I love Billie...and because you were dating him...actually, that was not a reason at all. What did he do?" I asked her.

"He...he just...he 's telling me I'm moody," she finally said.

"Oh, you are. You're pregnant and you're moody, embrace it while you can get away with it sweetheart. Paitan wants to say hi." I handed Paitan the phone as she was climbing up my leg to get to it.

"Auntie Em! Parker can role over! Uncle Ronnie taught him! He plays... Twumpet...It's shiny! And he can play piano too! Mommy said she'd let me play piano too! Uncle Ronnie's teaching me! Twumpets only have three buttons, but piano's have lots! More than ten! I can count to ten! One... two... three... four... five... six... seven... eight... nine... ten!" she exclaimed.

"Mommy? Can I have a Popsicle? Auntie Emmy says she has to go!" Paitan rushed over to be after ten minutes and handed me my closed cell phone. "She was happy to hear from me, she was smiling. I could hear it," Paitan told me.

"Good job, go get Daddy to give you a Popsicle, Auntie Libby and me are talking," I told her.

Emmy's Point of View

I shut the phone and sighed, then walked out of the room and looked down the steps and Jason was sitting on the couch playing with Summer. I glared and walked downstairs, sulking, and into the kitchen.

"What's wrong, Em?" Mom asked me.

"Jason," I grumbled and got a brownie off the plate and sat down at the table and grumpily took a bite. I looked down at the wooden table and sighed, then heard someone come into the kitchen.

"Are you in a better mood?" Jason asked me and I glared at him.

"No. I'm Not as a matter of fact. I'm mad at you," I said and he looked at me.

"What...why are you mad?" he asked sitting down across from me.

"Because, you were being a bastard. And that makes me sad. I don't know how to deal with my mood swings, and it just makes it worse when you bring it up," I mumbled and he looked at me.

"I'm sorry. Just, sometimes... just forget it, I'm sorry," he mumbled and I finished the brownie and looked at him.

"It's okay, this time whatever. I just..." I trailed off and looked at him. My stomach cramped up and I felt like someone had ran over me. I groaned in pain and he looked at me.

"It's nothing," I mumbled and held my stomach again.

"It's something. What does it feel like? Are you okay?" he asked and as I stood up I collapsed and passed out.
