Watch American Idiot
Green Day come back with American Idiot, the first single off of the album American Idiot. The video brings back Samuel Bayer in September 2004 who had last directed Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit. The video shows Green Day performing in front of a melting green flag, and also small moments of each member individually performing. Sometimes the timing of each member is faster or slower than the other, which is pretty cool. In the end green slop squirts out and drenches the band. The "Making of" the video is also available for viewing.

first green day song i ever heard (and knew it was by them).
(first green day vid i honestly ever saw was BOBD...).
no i'm not a random n00b or teenie-- i've been a hardcore fan since, and also i love how fast and fun this video is.
