Okay, so the film came out a while ag onow, but ive just seen in for the first time, and i have to say i really enjoyed it.
when i first heard the original, had been re-done and edited into a musical, i was a little bit weary, as i love original films more than remakes and i adore musicals.
but this film, was actually a lot better than expected
The film starring Nathan Lane, Matthew Broderick, Uma Thurman and Will Ferrell, is full of laughs. The story of producing a musical that instead of being a hit - be a disaster instead. the two producers get the worst playwrite they have ever seen, the worst director, and the worst actors.
the film is full of quite funny songs too, which also suprised me, as i saw stars like Matthew Broderick and Uma Thurman singing.

I love both versions of The Producers. The new one because it definately has more laughs and great musical numbers. The old because it has Gene Wilder in it and the actors act superbly
