Basket Case Age: 34 Gender: Female Posts: 17669	July 24th, 2007 at 03:24pm Argh, I'm fed up of losing my replies to cyberspace. kicks internet Anyway, he's never really suited anyone in my head because he's so emotionless that it would be completely out of character to show him feeling anything remotely positive, let alone love, or any mild form of that emotion. And he's living (well, I say living) proof that love can be as terrible as it is wonderful, and that's a pretty harsh message for a book that's read by loads of kids. Powerful though. And a lesson that people should know, because you don't ever think you'll fall in love with someone who doesn't feel the same. Not until it happens, and then it shatters your image of what love is. I think Voldie had the right idea though: don't care about people cos it'll fuck you up in the end.
