Green Day news has been floating all over the place lately. To start things off, GreenDay.net received a message from Adrienne Armstrong encouraging fans to take part in Earth Hour, an effort to raise awareness of climate change.
A photo from the Pinhead Gunpowder show was featured in the April edition of Spin magazine. There was also an article about the political influence music has, and although Green Day was mentioned in the article, their logo was found in one of the pictures accompanying it. On Monday April 21, Tre Cool will be hosting the second annual Music in Schools Today Golf Tournament, a benefit for the Oakland Unified School District. Tre Cool will also serve as the auctioneer, and he has even autographed a drum kit to be auctioned off at the event. The MuST site has appropriately listed the value as "priceless."
Foxboro Hot Tubs has recently updated their myspace, adding a new song and two new pictures to their photo album. One of the pictures is a scan of the track listing for their upcoming EP.
The Adeline forum is back online and usable again. In a news update on their site, Adeline said "We pledge, to monitor the bots, and keep them out as best we can. They are vicious little monsters that can ruin a good thread(depending on your interest!), but we'll do our best to keep them out." So hopefully it will remain functional.
