Emo Pejudice
Why must the Emos always suffer? Why can't we just love them for who they are and not make fun of and ridicule them?
I have a friend that is completely and underly EMO... He also claims to be bi, but i swear to you that if you got to know him, you would think he was gay.
All of us love him to death but one day last month, he can to my friend and I almost in tears.... He said that some of the jocks from the football team threw his skinny little a$$ into the locker room and left him there till the janitor can in the next morning. I had something close to this happen to me when i was younger, because i was sort of fat and really dorky.... i was put down at least once a day. So i knew where he was coming from. I to a trip to the football field with him to have him point out who did it. He pointed out three guys and i wrote down their names. the next day, they where at the field again. I walked up to them with my chin held high and a determination that i would make their lives a living hell.
As i walked up to them, They called out their normal profanities at me... but i didn't waver my eyes from them. nothing they could do would change my game plan. I was pissed that they screwed with my friend and they were going to pay, when i was only about 3 feet away from them, i stopped and asked, "Was it you that threw Wilson into the locker room?" when they got nervous, i knew that i was right. I took another step forward and asked who's idea it was. when two of them pointed to the one person in the front, i took the last step forward and decked him. I think i broke his nose but i really couldnt care less, He massed with my friend, and that needed to be taken care of, he will never mess with Wilson again, but im afraid that there are other Emos out there that need your help. I'm not saying that all Emos are weak and helpless but Some ARE. And i think we need to be there for them when they really need it.

i like what gd1333 stated, and i think that its also very true. it just seems so rediculous to call yourself something, especially 'emo'. anyways, whatever...

That's terrible!
I always get called emo because I'm a pessimist and write poetry that isn't exactly 'cheerful'... Or at least I used to. But people never went that far. Still, it's such a pathetic and big-headed thing to do. Those people need to get a life and stop being so prejudice.

thats horrible. people shouldn't make fun of others. period.
but emo is a genre of music, not a type of people. and i agree, if you are actually calling yourself emo, you're kind of asking for it. but its still not right, of course. i just think the whole "emo" thing is stupid. its one thing to like that music and wear that kind of clothes but calling yourself emo is really dumb. esp. since people make fun of "emos" so so much.

Doesn't really matter if the guy is emo or prep or gangsta, bottom line is it highlights how some people just don't give a rats behind about how they treat others. Tbh, I personally see any bashing of people for lame stuff like this as pathetic. That guy must have pretty low self-esteem to bolster his own by doing this kind of stuff to others. And it showed I think when you called him out on it, and his friends certainly didn't exactly back him up. Hopefully your friends troubles will cease from now on. Those getting picked on could benefit from someone coming to their aid like you did (although violence isn't always the best way).

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS EMO.
Anyone claiming to be emo still, is either 13 years old or has been living under a rock for the last few years.
Emo is a type of music, not a type of person.

Yeah, what Dani and Jesse said. It's like when you tell people not to look at you, the first thing they do it look.

Same sorta sh*t happened to me.
I slit a guys face open for it and nearly got sent to court.
Violence isnt gonna solve your sh*t.

i completely agree. if people make fun of "emos" or anybody
for that matter, than i view them as weak and pathetic. i know that
sounds cruel, but if you find in joy in demeaning other people and
think it's fun to make their lives hell, then i honestly think that you're
the scum of the earth. those kind of people are the only people i have
a real hatred for.

That's a sickening and disgusting thing for them to do, but I don't think you should blame it on people who are against "emo".
Regardless, they did judge him on his looks from what I am assuming. I think we should fight to stop prejudism all together.

I honestly think that if you lable yourself emo, people will be more likely to call you emo as well. labeling yourself like that is just stupid. you're just giving people a reason to make fun of you; no offence.
