If you are 15 years old and have no resources whatsoever to take care of a baby, whats worse? Knowing you killed a human foetus, that has never experienced anything or giving up the child after getting mocked all through the pregnancy, being called a slut, a whore and whatnot, being talked about behind your back and then having to give it up because you cant take care of this baby youve been mocked for to someone you dont know and that baby you gave birth to will think 'Why did my mommy give me up?' ?
Personally, i think that its better with the abortion.

You're right. It is inhumane Some mothers even get abortions as soon as they find out that they're pregnant because they don't want to "ruin their lives and their figures" by having a baby. These are rich, married women. I've heard this happens a lot in Dubai.
And gender-based abortion is sickeningly common in India. They've even had to ban sonographs in some areas because of it. Some people pay the doctor ridiculous amounts just to reveal the sex, even though its illegal and some people go use illegal scanny machines. Its sick. And if its a girl, they moan and throw hissy fits and beg for abortions and shit. Some woman died because she tried to make herself have a miscarriage. It was on the news for weeks a few years ago. Disgusting. |

They were all from really doctors records from the last five years, and one woman decided to abort her baby because she was going ski-ing.
I found that inhumane and disgusting. |

So what's the view on amniocentesis? That's the procedure where they extract an amount of amniotic fluid from around the foetus and is a test usually offered when something might be "wrong" with the baby. Meaning, an increased risk of "genetic conditions" such as mental retardation etc.
They do this test so they can check for abnormalties, but the there is a big risk of miscarriage with it.
Do you support the use of it? The only time I've known someone to take the test, is my mother, who took it to make sure her baby wasn't mentally challenged. if it was, she was going to most likely abort it. |
