Tube feeds her meat. Sorta like canard pate, where they force feed them.

PETA would beat my brains in for this, but I love pate. It's just so good. Yeah, I feel sorry for the duck, but on the rare occasion I get to eat pate, those occasions are usually grace worthy as well.

Sorry, my keyboard had a spasm I made a thread about how much I hate Peta activist groups where we can talk about Peta, so other threads don't get off topic. Some people really hate them, others think they're amazing.

I think livestock animals are kept alive because we breed and eat them. Otherwise, they'd get run over like roadkill and be eaten by other stuff without any species population control. The bell-curve thing would go haywire.

I see where people are coming from with the whole 'eating meat is wrong' thing.

But in my personal opinion, it's only a natural way of life, which is why I only eat organic, free range etc. meat/animal products - because it's the closet thing to natural food I have.

Anyway we were made in a way to eat meat. & it's only part of the food chain/instinct etc.

I don't think eating meat is wrong, I think the way we do it is wrong. I think its wrong to domesticate animals for the purpose of killing them. Free range or not, they were still bred with the purpose of dying and I find that to be cruel.

Since your arguement centers around the fact that humans should eat meat because its natural, then every human should be able to survive without using unatural tools like guns or other slaughtering weapons. In some places in the world, that happens. However, I bet if you plucked someone out of their nice comfy house and placed them in a wild environment where there wasn't any domesticated animals, I doubt they'd be so well off.
And I don't think it is an instinct at all, I don't think people have instincts to be honest. If its an instinct that humans have to eat meat, why do we have people who starve themselves? Why do we have people who only eat fish, or vegans? It isn't an instinct and we can survive perfectly well without it.

That's not vegan. That's not even vegetarian.

Vegan is where you don't eat any meat or animal products. Like, cheese, egg, milk, you don't wear leather or anything like that.

You're not a vegetarian either =] vegetarians don't eat meat.

My science teacher told us how sausages were made in seventh grade. A lot of people stopped eating hot dogs for a few weeks.

I once saw a documentary on the Discovery Channel or something about the way they're made. Most digusting thing I'd ever seen.

Can't fruitarians eat vegetables, as long as they've fallen? I guess that sucks for carrots and potatoes.

The only reason it's hard for you to be a fruitarian now is because you shop for food, and all they have is factory-made, gene altered stuff that makes your piss turn colours and all sorts of things you hear about. (Whether or not they're true is debatable.)

When my uncle was young and my Grandad and Grandmum were living in a war stricken age, all you had to rely on was the food you supplied for yourself in your garden sometimes, because of shortage of stock and stuff like that.

I'm vegan. the way you people explain it is confusing. vegan means no meat, dairy, eggs, fur, leather, wool, etc.

it's not hard. and it is 1000000000x healthier when done right. it gets a bad rep from people not doing their research about what to eat before they actually go vegan. I've been a vegetarian for 3 years and a vegan for 1. all I can say is that it's done wonders for my health. I'm a happier, kinder person, and I'm helping animals.

I can't see why someone could criticize us

I really just don't believe it's necessary or natural to hurt animals for food.
they live breathe and feel pain just like us.
