It's like you're desperately trying to convert everyone here to vegetarianism but you just can't do that by telling them their eating habits are sick or that they're allowing evil to happen. You just can't.
Becoming a vegetarian or a vegan is a major step in ones life, a personal decision, and you need to respect that.

There's nothing I'd love more than for everyone to stop eating meat products. Believe it or not, I'm a vegetarian myself, but right now I don't appreciate your inconsideration so I'd rather be on the side of the "sick meateaters" as you like to call them. You can't force someone into it. It's their own decision.
You have no right to act as if you're a better person than someone else just because of your diet.

Thousands of animals die every day...but so do humans. There is a far greater injustice in that.

Because...when it boils down to it...humans have a mind. Animals have a brain. According to good ol' Freud, there are three essestial parts of the psyche: The Id (primitave, impulsive side. You're born with it), The Ego (the main part of the mind. Its grown throughout life) and The Superego (what you want to show yourself as). Animals only have the Id part. The primative I-gotta-goddamn-survive instinct. Humans will know when they are being conned and made a fool of....animals don't.

It isn't all that environmentally friendly to be veggie...it's actually about on par with meat eaters. It doens't make a blind bit of difference. Cows are not the main producers of methane gas, it's termites.

There are rights and worngs and crossed morals in this arguement. The base line is that everyone does have a different view. You have a view of...well...'Save The Animals!' and I have one of 'I like some meat, whatever, as long as they are kept in okay conditions'. See, there is a way to stop the animal cruelty. If you improve their living conditions, more room and better air. They will enjoy that. But ultimately, not every person on this stupid planet will change their minds.

You are without a doubt, the most self-centered person I have ever encountered in this forum. As someone has kindly stated, the definition of murder does not extend to animals. And, in my opinion, while animals are to be respected and treated kindly, their purpose in life is to be eaten. If we were lower on the food chain, fine, but the truth is that we are the most highly evolved species, and whether you agree with that or not, it puts us at the top of the food chain.

And, before you start saying that certain food chains are better than others, know that those chains are more expensive. I went into a Whole Food store today, and everything was twice as much as it would have been at a regular supermarket. My paycheck does not support that, even if I actually would want to buy into that lifestyle.
