No, they don't know 'right and wrong'.
They know they're going to get a shoe up the ass if they do it. Not that it's wrong. All we're doing is taking the animal away from it's natural environment, and forcing it to comply with our will. The animal only knows punishment.
I'm not sure I can actually make any more clear
Maybe they don't know wrong in right in the same sense which we recognise it as, but they do no good and bad, and in your terms, punishment = bad, no punishment/treat = good. Whether or not they can rocognise that it's right or wrong is something I highly doubt that we'll ever know.
What Anji said.
And don't insult my intelligence, please.
So all in all, you don't actually have an argument to make against my point. Pointless post on your behalf really.
Her arguement merely happens to be the same as mine. No need to insult that fact. Infact, that was quite pointless of you to do so.

How is that making it personal? I was basically saying I couldn't care less whether my post was pointless or not -.-
We just ended a conflict in this thread. Let's not start another one. Stay on topic, don't make pointless posts, don't blank quote, don't insult people's intelligence. Basically, just be nice! It isn't that hard. If people keep fighting in here the thread is just going to get locked, and that isn't fair to the people who want to use the thread correctly.

I really don't like the cruelty to animals.
I've tried to be vegetarian, but it's really hard.
I fail all the time. Mainly because my family doesn't seem to support me.
They always serve me meat, still. My Mum won't buy me iron tablets or something to help.
On the other hand .. The animals are already dead, so by eating them you're not doing any harm. Humans were designed as omnivores anyway, not herbivores.

when you're a teenage, you kind of have to eat what your parents buy you... or buy your own food. Seeing that you're 13, I can understand why it would be hard to be a vegetarian. My parents are ok with me being a vegetarian, so it's alot easier for me then some people. I forget that at times...
As for the animals being dead... well yeah.. and you would be the one supplying the money for them to be killed if you purchase meat.
Skippy.:
O shoot.
Is that off topic?
:/
not at all

do you eat beef, pork or turkey?
Vegetarians (lacto-ovo-vegetarians) eat dairy products, it's vegans who don't consume dairy products, or processed foods containing animal-derived ingredients such as gelatin.

lacto vegetarians = plants and milk products
ovo vegetarians = plants and eggs
lacto ovo vegetarians = plants, eggs and milk products
vegans = plants, NO animal products

o_o. I never knew there were so many categories. I was always just a vegetarian. I didn't know I was a lacto vegetarian.

My father just doesn't allow me to leave out meat and fish.
I wouldn't even go vegan, I would still eat milk products and eggs because the animals didn't die for it. But he doesn't let me get up from the table until I have eaten everything, the meat too.
But my mother allows me to so I don't eat any meat on the weekends I spend with her or when I eat at a friend's house and stuff.
I watched up to the cattle part & I couldn't watch anymore, it was too sad. I feel so sorry for all those animals.
I'm definately trying harder to become a vegeterian.
That video made me puke. ><
I feel bad for eating meet.

I like meat.
Meat is good.
We were made to eat meat so why not eat meat, our ancestors did it?
Animals eat each other so why should we not eat them, it's also extremely good for you without meat you can suffer from anemia and other iron and protein deficiancies.
I hate P.E.T.A. because they generally are facists, not all of them, but a lot of them are.
Making your animals vegetarians is the cruelest thing you can do, you're taking away their choice and preferences.
Also those animals are bred to die so they want to die, organic meat is probably crueler because the animals are happy.
Why isn't eating vegetables cruel?
Personally I find it horrible seeing someone eat a pieces of brocoli it's heartbreaking.
Now I'll sit down and glare at all your vegetable eating monsters while enjoying this delicious steak.
