It has nothing to do with them....it's about the story of American Idiot.
It would be retarded if they even starred in it. I'm not saying seeing them is a bad thing.. it's just retarded being a musician/actor.

oh I hope they're not in it...have you ever like really watched Haunted carefully? I mean, I think he's amazing and all that, but acting isn't really his strength if you ask me. I love how he did Live Freaky, Die Freaky, but...he's not a terrible actor, but he's not an amazing one either.
And also, I love AI, but they would have to be really careful about making a movie about it. I hope they don't to be honest cause I think it would kinda ruin the record. It's so open ended it can interpreted so many ways, but by making a movie they're giving it one, set interpretation.
If they do have to make a movie I hope that they're really involved with the writing and shooting of it, but not the promoting. The less attention they can draw to themselves being involved with the movie the better. I also kinda hope they dont do something corny like name the characters St. Jimmy, JOS, Whatsername, etc.
The story line would probably make a good movie, but if Green Day is obviously involved I think it will just backfire and people who aren't crazy fans like us will just get people annoyed that they're still pushing AI, and it has gotten a bit old, I would probably get annoyed too.

to be in the American Idiot movie.

i would like to know if there is going to be a movie too how can anyone critisize what they guys would act like when we dont evan know if this movie is going to happen yet? lets take things one potato at a time.
I have two other GD obcessed friends, so on the day the AI movie comes out, we are going to camp out to see the first showing, skip school if necessary and the three of us are going to dress up like GD. I read in some magazine that they said they will incorporate some of the AI lyrics in the script. I'm not sure about the whole music part of it but I think in the article it said they would use music from AI.
