I read on someone's profile that Billie was talking about something he was really proud of.
He said all the awards and stuff were great, but the best moment was teaching his son to play guitar.

He is an awesome dad, he's taking time out to chill with his family and stuff. I mean, I'd like it if I had a dad like that, but I guess life goes on.
no i doubt it cuz in some interview he said that if he ever hears a green day song on the radio when he is with joey and jakob, he coughs whenever a cuss word is said.

Come on, all parents let swear words slip occasionally, he's even said he does himself sometimes
And I bet he's not quite as bothered now they're older
He is probably a really good dad. I saw in an interview that he doesn't do drugs or alcohaul around his kids. Plus its BILLIE JOE ARMSTRONG!! He's AWESOME!!
He is just a normal guy.
I think he'd make a great dad. The rockstar thing has nothing to do with it.
He's calmed down over the years. Apart from having to tour I don't see a problem.
He's always giving advice to younger kids...

That`s funny. Imagine Joey sits next to Billie, Jakob behind them and they listen to a green day song on the radio. And on some points there are bad words and he coughs. Nice imagination.
But I think he´s very good dad. And I´m sure he cares about his kids more than other rock stars. One some pictures like Driven it was able to see that he has a very strong relationship to his sons.

I can believe that. Much of Green Day's touring life is without their families so I can imagine how tough it gets sometimes, for Adrienne as well you know? So I can see where Billie brings that old fashioned, strong morals perspective to his children/
