If she really cared about her baby or if you really cared about her baby, then you shouldn't give a shit about what random people online are saying. Maybe some people are more sensitive than others and maybe it hits a nerve to hear people saying that she's lying when she's been through so much. But in my experiance with children, it's that no child reacts the same way to any type of treatment, so what might be right for some, won't work for others, so it's pointless people saying ''you shouldn't be taking those drugs their addictive'' well for starters things like chocolate and caffeine are addictive and secondly your in know position just like me to judge.

ADHD = Attention Deficite Hyperactive Disorder, And liek i said b4 my son has it and GOD he has it bad, but also saying that he is at times a loving and bright child. IT IS NOT a result of bad or poor peranting, neither is it a result of poor diet, neither is it a result of the mother taking drugs/drinking/smoking while pregnant, it is a NEUROBIOLOGICAL disorder. I NEVER intended to start this topic to upset people who lost a child i just wanted to know what you all thought of ADHD medication and why you were for it or against it. My daughter by the way was 9 when she started her periods. AND ADD AND ADHD ARE TOTALLY DIFFERANT FROM EACH OTHER

And he had Ritaling and he had Concerta XL, but he is now on Srattera Atomeoxetine. ADHD is NOT caused by bad parenting or lack of discipline, NOR are it's origins related to excessive TV watching - it is a neurobiological disorder, This means that it's causes are based on biological reasons that lie within the brain. Although the exact cause of the condition is not yet fully understood, it is believed to be due to an imbalance of some chemicals in the brain including "noradrenaline" (also know as norepineohrine) and dopamine. These chemicals are responsible for controlling activity in the brain INCLUDING that related to behaviours of impulsivity and attention. ALso it is not the childs fault he cant help being like it, Oh yeah and by the way normal GP's can't diagnose the children that takes a Child Psychiatrist. If ADHD is not identified and treated properly children may be at greater risk of: Low Self esteem Academic under peeformance at school Depression Friendship and relationship problems AND AS AN ADULT: Emplyment difficlties Criminal behaviour substance abuse. some differant medications are: Ritalin (methylphenidate hydrochloride), Equasym and Equasym XL, Concerta XL, Dexedrine (dexamphetamine) and Straterra (atomoxetine)

He should be taking Zoloft but he doesnt cause he drinks alot. I Also have a cousin with ADHD he is on medication. I spent a week with the kid. I couldnt say it was Hell cause he was mostly asleep or taking the pills.
