I really dont care if someone doesnt believe in God.Dont try to change my opinion and I wont try to change yours.It does make me a little mad when people say like 'fuck God' and stuff.I mean it would make you mad if someone said oh lets say 'fuck tre' cool. |

And the church I go to, whenever someone's praying, everyone else in the congregation is all screaming things like "YES GOD. PLEASE. THANK YOU JESUS. ALLELUJAH. AMEN. YES LORD." the whole way through the prayer. It just scares me o_o

whoever says "i am a good christian is wrong because we ALL do things in life against the bible me i got pregnant before marraige, i used to smoke and i used to drink, all against the christian religion but i am a good person in my heart, so no my answer to that is your not a bad christian, perhaps a nervous one though. |

Thanks. Sometimes I feel they expect me to start shouting during the sermon like they do.
you havent got to do anything you dont want to, it says in the bible "one should not force preach" or somthing along those lines. |

Okay My question is 'Why Don't You Believe In God?'
My reason is for asking is. I don't. But my friend drags me to church or youth group every so often. Everyone there thinks I do believe in God. Tonight she dragged me there for the first time in 5 months. The youth pastor was talking about future youth nights and what we would discuss. One topic caught my attention. We're gonna talk about doubts & creationism vs. evolution. They're gonna give us a piece of paper and we can ask whatever and they should be able to come up with an answer supporting Christianity. But I wanna give them a question that they can't answer. So that's where I want yall to help me. I only have a few questions I can think of. And anymore would be helpful so yeah, Type away.
My Questions/Statements.
1.] How can you trust the bible if it's written by man who are sinners?
2.] Christians are told they have free will. 'Do what I say or die and burn in hell.' That doesn't sound like free will to me.
3.] If Christians are supposed to love eachother as thy selves or whatever. How come they always discriminate other religions and homosexuals? That's not very loving.
That's all I can think of.

1.] God told them what to write. It was kind of like he went into them. Don't get it confused with posession or anything though. It's different.
2.] God never said 'Do what I say or die and burn in hell.' He said 'I'm not going to make you love me, I'm going to give you a choice. If you choose not to love me, you will go to hell.' harsh? yes. but do you really want to burn in hell?
3.] They don't. The Bible says to love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. Christians are on the earth to help people to know God. God loves everybody, but he just hates what they are doing. Because homosexuality is wrong. You should know that by just looking at the anatomy of a person that it could only work one way.
People researched the Bible and they could not prove anything wrong. It said the earth was round before we found that out.
For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.

Does that sound like a God that would tell you 'Listen to me or you'll burn in hell?' |
