No.
You obviosly dont know the story and where Bullet and a Bible came from, it isnt sacreligious, and neither is Saint Jimmy or JOS. They are metophorical terms and only spazzy, ignorant people (no offense if thats you..) misunderstood it as sacreligious because chanves are they neveer listened to it.

All of this talk about 'there's no proof God exists!'
Well. Alot of things can never be proven or unproven. Sometimes it's better if things weren't proven. We can't figure everything out, and sometimes it's better if we didn't.
I think people are beginning to mix up facts with opinions...
Oh, yes. I'm not too sure about God, but I know there has to be something.

It is, but other people have stated that, and stating the same thing over and over isnt the purpose of this forum.

I'll say something a little new....
whether or not there is enough proof religion is a lifestyle and it works for a lot of people, I believe this and this is why I have a lot of respect for other religions
I'm usually not into political correctness, but it's common politeness not to say, "your religion is wrong"....just say, "I don't believe in your religion"
that's how they live their life....even if you don't believe like they do don't force your opinions on them
back to my original statement, I like the way that Mormon kid in South Park said it, (not a direct quote) "look, you're not Mormon and I'm okay with that. Maybe all of that stuff about Joseph Smith is made up, but this is how I live my life and I'm happier and closer to the ones I love because of it...."
basically this is why I'm a Christian, I used to be an Athiest when I realized that using basic logic everything taught in the Bible is for the better, the only thing I couldn't understand was the part about homosexuals not being allowed to marry.....but if my brain could calculate basic logic to the degree of God then that really wouldn't work out....I'm not as smart as the creator of the universe
anyway, my religion is very hard to believe, but what use is your faith when you don't have to put faith in it?
it's the best logical way to live in my opinion and I think it makes me a better person...so if it turns out to be fake and when I die I go no where: I lived life the way I thought I should with the chance of having a reward later, that's still what I want to do
There is absolutely 0 proof of a higher spiritual entity, or intelligent existance. And there will never be.
Proof is a horrible, stupid word to use in this case.
And anyone who truly believes in science would know they can't deal with God. Science, were it a being, would not be an atheist, but agnostic.
Proof only deals with what science deals with, that which is measurable. God is infinite. Therefore, God isn't provable. God is not natural, God is supernatural. Science only deals with the natural. You can't use science to disprove or prove whether or not there is a God.
Oh, and as for my opinion on the matter, I believe that there is a God. A higher, intelligent nonentity, all of existance, reality. Existnce and reality are God. As is love.
Nature, evolution, etc. is too ordered to just be random. Something had to plan it out. And how do you explain emotions? Some are explainable, but these are obvious bodily reactions to fearful situations. So, atheists, what is love?

I can feel love.
I can feel emotions. I can feel fear, sadness, grief, joy,
Yet I cannot feel God.
By my own judgements, there is no 'God' of whom religion speaks, no absolute force. Maybe there was something, a force, a catalyst to begin the universe. What brought about that force?.
I don't know. Nobody does. I'm better of sticking to my own judgements and feelings, those which tell me there is no God.
If i'm wrong, then what does it matter?. I'll only find out after I have died. Why worry about it until then?.

God is love.
It is theorized that God always was, was not brought about. As a supernatural existance, it transcends time or space. The Big Bang itself was theorized by a Catholic monk.
As long as you live your life as a person who aspires to spread love and eliminate suffering (evil), your belief in God is immaterial.

Ok Nick
I agree with the bolded part. Whether or not there is enough evidence to support my atheism, this is the way I have chosen to live my life and I'm finding that its working well for me.
All religion is hard to believe, true. But as long as you have faith. That is why not believeing is a bad thing, because then you have no faith, nothing to hold onto. I believe it isn't god getting you through life, but because you have that belief it becomes like a placebo and you're helping yourself.
My faith lies in different things, not a God who I cannot see or feel, and thats just me. I don't believe yet, but if ever I feel there is sufficient evidence for me to believe I will. I'm waiting for a conversion, in essence. If it doesn't come, then fine. I'm living to the best way that feels right for me and I don't have any problems with that.

all faith resides in something hard to believe, not just because you can't see it or feel it either

I agree with everything in this post, espically the bit about faith. Its what you believe, and just because nothing is proven doesn't make it any less real.

Because i have thoughts instead.
you're still allowed to think for yourself....unless you want to be stereotypical in which case I wouldn't have any respect for you and you aren't following the religion correctly
if a "Christian" didn't think for themselves how solid is their faith in their religion?
exactly, they could be easily persuaded against the religion and didn't truely believe in the first place
you're supposed to think for yourself, otherwise your judgment is clouded and you don't have true faith.....would God want a bunch of idiots who aren't even cabable of thinking for themselves following him? No, he wants intelligent people on his side, he wants you to be able to think for yourself, but still follow his lead

I was gonna say that also. God is love so therefore to feel love is to feel God o_o...
I'm not religious. As far as I'm concerned, religion is a total load of crap. It's run by close minded freaks that dont fit in anywhere else who are all total hippocrites. It's not open to any new ideas, and I've already accepted that I'm going to Hell, and the world's gonna have to deal with it. As for questions... how about..
1. If 'god' loves everyone, why doesnt he love gays or other races?
I however find ancient religions kinda facinating...(ie..the Egyptian Gods, and the Greeks and Romans..)
