Have You Ever Lost Interest In Green Day?

This may be a dupe, I checked the first 5 pages and found nothing.

Why are you loosing or have lost intrest in Green Day? Is it lack of new songs, repetition, posers...

Currently, I'm majorly losing interest, and believe you me I was a huge fan back in the day, but thats another subject. I think I'm losing interest because of the lack of good music, and the growing fan base, these days everyone seems to be the biggest fan of Green Day and say they have all their albums when they only have AI, International, and Nimrod.

Why are you losing interest?

I haven't really lost interest, despite the fact that there are a lot of fans and I don't listen to the music as much as I used to before (which was listen to 2/3 of their albums every day o.o).

I'm not really losing interest, kind of decreasing.. BUT I could probably understand why others are.
Growing fanbase liked Green Day because of the fact that they had new songs out and it was played all the time, winning awards, etc.
Now, they're not really giving anything to [many of] the [new] fans (besides the suspense of their new album), so it's not as exciting to many people because there is nothing to talk about when discussing Green Day.
The only reason I'm a bit disappointed is because Green Day is now known as sort of the "politics" band. It's annoying. Watching the Kids Choice Awards win speech sort of hit me in the head and drilled part of that into my brain. I don't know. I haven't really lost interest, just there hasn't been the excitement that there was.
