I know. It's abnormal, I say it all the time. He's one of the greatest metal singers of all time, in my opinion. As people have said, he can pull of throaty shouting and throaty singing, just listen to Vermilion pt. 2.

I find his voice kinda sexy.

I agree Corey is one of the best, people just don't get how hard it is to both scream nice and be able to sing. And he's been screaming his lungs off for years now on touring so on Vol.3 and 9.0 live many people said he *lost* his voice. Personally i think it was good and he's still got some screaming in him left. .
I mean hell if you wanna talk about singers who suck...hetfield anyone? He sounded like a little kid at the download festival where joey filled in for some of Metallica's songs. (and he did a very very nice job owning lars).

I like how he can actually scream, where some bands these days, their vocalists cant actually sing, they just scream, and it sounds shit. Slipknot shit all over those bands

Hell yea Corey is great. But anders was ok too i mean hell listen to MFKR. But still i can't see me liking the band so much with Anders as the vocalist. But still that dude could also write some sweet music.

I think his voice is best in the chorus of The Blister Exists.
Also in Me Inside the "I wasn't promised a thing" bit.

I like the long scream he does in vermilion part1 at 4:20. That one is one of his best. Too bad he doesn't do it that good live though. But bless him he still owns alot of other *metal* lead singers.

Well i've been to most of europe and people just are like that when it comes to slipknot, but not only them.
I got a lot of *satanist* and *bum* etc etc just cause i have a knot shirt on...weird.
