Have you ever.... for Green Day

I cried when I had tickets to Milton Keynes and then my parents announced they were going on holiday and so no babysitter for my offspring...hence no chance of me going.

Yeah I fucking cried!

Yet sold the tickets to a friend and still felt eternally bitter.

I'll just name a few:

1. I'm going to dress like Billie Joe for halloween this year.

2. Whenever Green Day comes on TV, only if it's for a few seconds I stop what I'm doing and either stare at the screen or I become a one person mosh pit during King For A Day.

3. When Green Day loses an award for a nominination I start to hate who ever won.

I've gotten choked up during Bullet In A Bible and the Wake Me Up When September Ends video
I have all their CD's except for 39 Smooth and Kerplunk because I couldn't get them since they're off the market
I have their posters on my wall and I have four Green Day shirts and I try to get more merchandise when I can
I have the International Supervideos and Bullet In A Bible DVD's
I always stand up for them when people say they don't like them... I've gotten into arguments about it

Every time I go to the mal i HAVE to buy something green day. Its like my tradition. No one in the fucking school of mine likes then except this hot junior, but he could kick my ass if he wanted to. w/e. Buti i tend to yell at people who make fun of me for it. me and my amte where in a cinema and american idiot came on on a trailer or something so we went insane, stood up and started moshing at the front of the cinema... thhere was only about 6 other people there but hey

I don't think a "true" Green Day fan has to break stuff, (possibly injuring themselves/other people and getting in major trouble in the process) just to show how pissed they are about not going to a concert. I think just feeling disappointed should do it

Today at a resturant I was wearing a Green Day shirt and I had a book about Green Day that I was reading. Our waitress asked me if I was a Green Day fan and I said yes so I asked her if she liked them to and she said yes. Then I squealed really loud and said that I love her. People looked at me like I was insane. But I do that to every Green Day fan I see.
