Where all those helicopters real? and like where they actually there? o_O Cuz they really freaked me out. no... all th ehelicopters and fighter jets and stealth bombers were superimposed into the frames... It's a satire about the lack of gov't caring of what was happening on home soil verses what was happening abroad. That's why that sign is shown at the end of the video... And thats the reason why those planes look so weird! I mean they are like the toy planes!

U2 didn't write this song, some other scottish punk band wrote it some time ago, they just took it and sang it because it was the most apropriate for what people were living during hurricane Katrina

They tried to make it theirs and ended up with an okay sounding cover. Its originally by a band called The Skids. Green Day were great, but U2, esp Bono, let the side down with those annoying adlibs... 'living like birds in the magnolia trees'? WTF?
