Hmm . . . Maybe you should jump ship when you get really bored, and then just swim the rest of the way to shore? All I know is that being stuck on a boat for tewelve hours has to be better than being stuck on a plane for twelve hours, because at least on a boat you have the option to jump ship, but you're stuck on a plane. Even screaming at the top of your lungs and yelling "Stop the ride! Stop the ride! I'm gonna be sick" during takeoff doesn't work. Tre did that once. People just looked at him like, Uh, you're not on a ride at an amusement park here, buddy. That's not the way it works. It was pretty hilarious.

My best friend's parents won't let my best friend have any contact with me because she ran away from home the other night and I lied and said I didn't know where she was, but her dad found out I lied, and I broke his trust, so she's not allowed to have anything to do with me anymore. I know we'll find ways to talk to each other and see each other, but I'm worried about what might happen if her parents find out about us sneaking around. Oh, and my best friend is eighteen, but that doesn't mean shit to her parents. They treat her like she's five.
