Or Good Riddance.
Good Riddance is kinda of overused in my opinion though.
So... Yeah, Macy's.
And no last words- just walk off stage. |

It's fitting for the occasion of the last song.
Or the following would be good:
Rest

Age: 34 Gender: Male Posts: 35 | July 14th, 2007 at 10:00pm Argh, I'd want a full song medley. I dunno what I'd like with all the songs, I'll edit or repost when I have ideas, but a normal acoustic version of Macy's Day Parade that leads into an electric guitar driven build up with the rest of the band at the end of Good Riddance with an extended outro would be cool. |

| July 15th, 2007 at 01:32am Of course good riddance. When I first read your question, that's the first song that crossed my mind

Age: 33 Gender: Female Posts: 28 | August 1st, 2007 at 04:09am well i think that i would want their last song to be "good riddance (time of you life)" and i would want Billie Joe to make the speech that he did in bullet in a bible. about we have the power and we're the leaders. oh god but that would just be aweful... their LAST preformance... omg now i'm depressed lol |

| August 12th, 2007 at 07:20pm Well they should have a series of concerts. And on each day play one album all the way through starting with 1039 and ending with whatever Green Day material the future holds. Which would make the last song be the last song on the last album...maybe they should call it "The Last Song" |

| August 17th, 2007 at 05:05pm Y'know
I reckon it should be JOS
Because the tempo changes and it can represent all of the times and music, plus all of them sing which is a bonus
The last words would have to be: Don't let anyone change you. You are who you want to be, and you're amazing. We love you.

I think they should write a song reflecting on their life as musicans and not let anyone hear it until the play it.
Then Tre get out from behind the drum kit and Mike go over to Billie and they just stand their taking in their awe and applaud then walk off |

 | August 23rd, 2007 at 02:01pm Good Riddance.
I like being different.
Na,
I think it'd be good if everyone expected Good Riddance and then they played something like All The Time.
Last Words:
"When we die, you'll remember our names."
Or even, after the last song, drop their guitars, bass & drumsticks and just walk off stage. I reckon if they said something really sweet & meaningful then it would hit me harder that they weren't coming back and I'd be soooooo sad - but if they just walked off....
Oh forget it!
I'd be suicidal no matter what they said or what they played. |

I think Good Riddance would be fitting, but Boulevard of Broken Dreams would be amazing too. Not just because it's my favorite song ever, but the song is powerful and emotional and I think it would fit very well. |

| December 18th, 2007 at 02:32am either good ridence or i was there
this is how i would picture it:
they would play either one of the songs, then at the end the whole stage goes black and then they vanish.
yeah... |
