Shadow of a Doubt:

Well, a lot of people hate Bush so they might not want to support someone that Bush is for. I think that would be stupid, but there are a lot of stupid people out there. McCain is going to win the Republican candidacy and he is the best candidate so Bush should endorse him.
McCain supports alot of the same policies and ideas as bush, so if someone dislikes Bush it's pretty safe to say they're going to dislike McCain. That doesn't make them stupid, just consistent.

I think Clinton's phoney, no offense. She seems like she's just trying to say all the right things

Con That's exactly what I've been saying the past several years.
Speaking of which, that crying act has really gone too far now. I don't see how anyone could ever have fallen for it. Neutral

McCain is definitely on the same boat as Bush for many policies, but to be honest, not all too many people have noticed the parallels. Only when Bush endorses McCain will people really start noticing, and that will damage his campaign. It's why I hope Bush does announce an endorsement. I hate to see a Democrat lead the country, but I just don't think McCain is the wisest choice for the Republicans.

100 years war anyone? No thanks.

Think I think they have. I mean, they're constantly talking about it on CNN and MSNBC. True, a lot of Americans probably don't even watch those channels, but they probably have watched a local news channel. The media lives off making those connections. In fact, I think thats why so many (well, it's not a very big number, but some) republicans have been flocking to Huckabee. They want a republican, but they don't want another Bush.

Yah I guess the blame is on the lack of choices. An aged veteran similar to Bush or a theocratic dictator? Neither choice is appealing which is why I'm still saddened by the lack of Mitt Romney [and also angered that not only did he terminate his own campaign but he is giving his support to McCain! *sigh*]

I think Huckabee should drop out and give his delegates to Ron Paul, maybe then his campaign will pick up a bit again. But realistically, at this point, there's no way of stopping McCain. Let's just hope he has better advisors and not Cheney as Vice.

I haven't read too much into this, but this has been popping up lately.
This isn't the only video like this either.

And since I haven't really looked into it, I cannot have an opinion.
I'm also not sure, if he was just quoting him, but I have seen
another of this video and it doesn't seem like it.

What do you all think?

I missed the debate tonight but managed to catch some of the post-debate discussion. At this point, I really don't think the debates will sway any voters. Those who can't decide and haven't decided yet obviously aren't being affected by the two candidates [I'm talking for Democrats here]. It's the media, I'm sure, that will decide for them [so Obama yes?].

And is anyone else tired of hearing Clinton talk about all talk no action? Isn't she the exact same thing? Oh, and I loved how she brought up the guy [senator or congressman?] who's a supporter of Obama but when asked by Chris Matthews what specific thing has Obama done that merits his support and he couldn't answer it. That was embarrassing for him, not Obama, so I'm glad Obama didn't get defensive about it because it's not his problem. Well played.

But the nicest play was at the end when Clinton said some stuff about it being an honour to sit with Obama. She's trying to make herself look like the underdog now and the better person by saying these things. A little late in the campaign to start sucking up yes?

Yeah, I don't think there's really much more Clinton can do, that either one of them can do considering its pretty late in the campaign to do anything. I personally think all the debates are useless, nobody is going to change their mind and indecisive people tend to never decide when a time limit is involved. Coffee I say screw the debates and just let the states that need to vote vote already, why are we waiting until March 4th?

I think there were too many debates clumped up last year so they're not as exciting this year. There still has to a be a process so I'm fine with individual states having their primaries/caucuses on different days. Very suspenseful, builds up tension. I'm ok with next week's debate though on MSNBC, I like those debates =)

I would probably like them more if I understood what they were arguing about. At this time it almost seems as if all they are doing is trying to say whatever will make their opponent look bad and themselves look good. Eh Such a nast game, politics.

Politics - Latin Translation - Poli = Many - Tics = Bloodsucking creatures. Interesting.

I told that to one of my friends about 8 years ago. She got offended. Apparently at the time she wanted to be a politician. And I didn't know. XD

Hey to be a politician all you need to know is how to play dress up and the art of verbal persuasion, otherwise known as bullshit. Mr. Green

Politicians are sneaky people and I don't want to call them all liars, but many are. Having said that, I have great respect for [most] politicians because contrary to what people see on tv, they do try to help the people. I truly think [not naively] that they have good intentions and generally have the people in mind.

A question has formulated recently and hopefully someone here can answer it as best as possible. Why is the New York Times so insistent on ruining McCain?

I also think they have good intentions, its just they get carried away with trying to impress people and want their way so badly they end up jabbing each other with insults and making themselves look bad. I can't answer your question. I don't read the New York Times so I wouldn't really know. Coffee

I have a question for you guys. Who do you think will win? It looks like it's going to be between Obama and McCain. Now keep in mind I didn't say, "Who do you want to win?
