With no due respect whatsoever, anyone who actually supports PETA is a moron. They're a disgrace to the real anti-cruelty groups. |

There is no reason, and there is no need to eat meat, when their are fake meats, that honestly tatse like the real thing.
WTF?! Why be vegetarian and want to enjoy the taste meat, if you feel this way then just eat the real thing!
Nothing was killed for it is why. |

 | January 5th, 2011 at 10:58pm greenday6:I had to learn to run real fast, because the roosters thought I was staring at them and challenging them when I'd go and feed them. They wanted to peck my eyes out. So my point is, the animals don't care about you so I will never feel bad about eating them. Being around the animals might give people a different view on stuff.
That's scary. But, I really just don't think I want to kill something to eat it. Today, there isn't a need for it. I mean, I suppose if that was like truamatizing for you, I get it. But I don't want to kill something for a burger, our patty. |

I don't see that happening in the near future. Never been kicked or shoved by a cow then? They're bad-tempered buggers.
Interesting that you chose not to address the points raised in my posts... |

 | January 7th, 2011 at 06:01pm Most cows are bred to be eaten by us anyway. I always say that by eating them, you're fulfilling what they were meant to do: feed us. Besides, not like they live an interesting life anyhow... |

 | January 7th, 2011 at 07:33pm ^This is true, cows have been domesticated for thousands and thousands of years, and for the this purpose.
AGAIN I'm not for the inhumane treatment of animals obviously, but I agree--It's not like cows have been galloping merrily around the countryside and this is a new thing. |

Okay sorry to not be serious but I just got a mental image of cows galloping merrily... I laughed A LOT. |

Yeah, but why does it have to be that way?
Domesticated, or not.
Why do we need to go kill something to eat.
It's not like we aren't going to get the nurtients any other way. |

must practice loving others. To have true self-respect, we must
respect others. The animals and other voiceless beings, the
starving humans and future generations, are pleading with us to
see: it's on our plate."
"The human cycle of violence will not stop until we stop the
underlying violence, the remorseless violence we commit against
animals for food. We teach this behavior and this insensitivity
to all our children in a subtle, unintentional, but powerful form
of culturally approved child abuse." |
